Terrible hospitality!

Our family of three, including a 10-year-old child, stayed at this hotel for the first time from August 14, 2026, to August 18, 2026. It was a terrible experience, as we purchased a room with a direct view of the Bosphorus and an extra bed for our daughter, which the hotel confirmed with our tour operator in advance, and we paid extra for it. In the end, we arrived at the hotel at 1:00 a.m. on August 15th and were given a room with TWIN beds and NO EXTRA BED for our daughter, NO DIRECT VIEW OF THE Bosphorus, they gave us a view of the neighboring building!!!!!! Of course, I went to the reception to sort things out, but they told me the hotel was fully booked and there were no extra beds available at the moment!!! They said we had to order one additionally…… this despite the fact that we ordered and paid for it in advance!!!! And they said that they can put our two beds together and a 10 year old child can sleep with us, there is nothing wrong with that, she is not 12 years old!!!!! I WAS SHOCKED!!!!! Then they offered to make a bed on the NARROW, HARD corner sofa, and they didn’t care that the child could easily fall off it, they said to put a chair, which was not even in our room!!!! Then the water in our sink did not drain for about half an hour and it smelled like sewage! There were only 2 of everything in the room, despite the fact that there were THREE of us!!!!! The next day I went to resolve the problem again and they acted like they were shocked by what happened, promised to urgently bring a folding bed for my daughter but could not give us a room, the whole hotel was full.... Are these my problems!!!!!??? I reserved and paid for a room a long time before arrival!!!!! The day passed, we came to the room, and there was no folding bed!!!!! I went to the reception again and was again refused one! It was only the next day that I managed to get a room upgrade to the one I was supposed to have, complete with a fold-out bed for my daughter! One with a working sink drain and no smell.
The receptionist, a Russian-speaking woman, told me that since we booked through a travel agent, we should also request a recalculation for two nights. Therefore, our travel agent has already filed a complaint with the hotel, and we are STILL waiting for a recalculation for two nights at the appropriate price for this DISGUSTING ROOM and the way they treated us!! The Melnikov family. The room was terrible - 1435 B. The new corresponding room is 2308.

We fully understand how disappointing and frustrating it must have been to arrive late at night and find that the room arrangements did not correspond with what had been expected through your travel agency. We also regret the inconvenience caused by the maintenance issue in the bathroom and the room amenities not being prepared for three guests.
We are pleased that our team was eventually able to relocate your family to a more suitable room and provide the additional bed. Nevertheless, we recognize that this did not make up for the inconvenience experienced during the first part of your stay.
As your reservation was made through a travel agency, any request regarding a rate adjustment or reimbursement must be handled through the agency in accordance with the booking and payment arrangements. We can confirm that the matter raised through your travel agent is being reviewed by the relevant team, and we appreciate your patience while this process is completed.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience and disappointment caused. Your comments have been shared with the appropriate departments so that the circumstances surrounding your room assignment and preparation can be reviewed.

Family friendly

Very family friendly. We had Sireyya as our house keeping and she was very sweet and kind. Overall the hotel was very family friendly and fun.

The check in staff really need training. Chaos at both the check in and check out process. Additionally the small desk of 3 persons is insufficient for the size of the hotel. No online check in and check out option which is every where in the world now. They want to send staff to check if anything taken from the fridge even after telling them I did not…..

Wonderful stay. Best hotel in Istanbul. Brand new amazing design and architecture. Staff couldn’t have been more polite and helpful. Breakfast superb. Wonderful selection of food. We ate dinner at Josephine restaurant which was amazing. The views service and atmosphere. Great asset for children as you can visit Nickelodeon play area for free. Would recommend hotel to the most demanding customers. Real pearl in Istanbul.
