True Blue has stolen our hearts ♥️
I’m not really sure where to begin when reviewing this magical place. Having read previous reviews, we were expecting a great stay, but the feeling we got as soon as we were greeted by Tuba and the team, on arrival, was one of love and coming home. The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the small personal touches make you feel instantly at home. It’s incredibly peaceful and despite it being the height of summer, the pool was never overcrowded or noisy. My parents flew out to surprise our children halfway through the holiday and the staff were all involved in the surprise, even filming the special moment for us. Breakfast isn’t just a meal, but a celebration of local food and homemade delights. The bar staff are friendly, fun and make great cocktails. Everything is done with care and love, and you can tell the staff love working there, and with each other. This is all down to the owner Tuba, who truly loves what she does, and wants everyone to be happy. Finally, a special shout out to the wonderful Raffy who greeted us like old friends whenever we saw him on reception, and was always happy to help with any requests. As our new friends (including Pako the dog) said goodbye to us when we were leaving, we had tears in our eyes but knew for sure that this would not be our last visit.

The True Blue Boutique Hotel in Kalkan really far exceeded our expectations. We have already been to several 5-star hotels, but quite honestly: Some of them could by no means keep up with what we experienced here.
The hotel is indeed smaller and very personal, but that is exactly what makes up a large part of its charm. We had a beautiful, very spacious accommodation of just under 80 m², including our own washing machine – perfect and incredibly practical, especially when traveling with the family. In addition, there is private parking, which is really a big plus in Kalkan.
But what makes this hotel truly special are the people. The entire team is simply fantastic. Regardless of whether it was the reception, waiters, kitchen, cleaning staff, or other employees – really every single employee was friendly, helpful, attentive, and warm every single day. You can tell immediately that this is not just a job being done here, but that hospitality is truly lived out.
The owner was also regularly on-site in person and approachable at any time. She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and really took care to ensure that the guests felt comfortable. It is very rare to find this exact personal atmosphere in large hotel complexes.
And then the breakfast: absolutely fantastic! Very extensive, fresh, varied, and above all, really delicious. It was a pleasure to go to breakfast every morning. Real value is placed on quality and selection here.
The cleanliness was also consistently at a very high level. The rooms and the entire complex were well-maintained and clean, and here too, the staff were always friendly and attentive.
We can really only say positive things about this hotel. For us, our stay at the True Blue Boutique Hotel was an example of how small and personal can often be significantly better than large and luxurious.
Anyone coming to Kalkan who values cleanliness, peace and quiet, excellent service, good food, friendly staff, and a family atmosphere should definitely consider this hotel.

Beautiful stay in Kalkan
We spent a wonderful week staying at True Blue. Like other reviewers have said, is a hidden gem. Peaceful, calm, clean with the best breakfast I have ever experienced at a hotel before. What more could you want.
The staff are kind and helpful and go above and beyond if you need anything at all. Rooms are lovely and inviting and kept very clean every day.

Outstanding hotel.
I simply cannot fault this hotel. It's one of those hotels you are reluctant to share as you want to keep it to yourself as a hidden gem. The managers, Raffy, Tuba and their team, bend over backwards to accommodate you during your stay and make you feel so welcome, like home from home. We had a sea view room which was clean and wonderfully simple in its design with every detail so carefully thought through. Despite the fact the hotel was full, I was not disturbed by other guests and could not hear anyone in the adjacent rooms which one so often can in hotels. My room had a lovely small sitting room leading onto the balcony with my bed in an alcove.
The breakfast is sublime! It is worth staying in this hotel for the breakfast alone! Every dietary need catered for, 5 different types of milk and a spread of fresh food you cold go on eating all day!
We tended to laze round the pool in the morning (always. being able to find a lounger) and spent the afternoon at a beach club and meeting back at the hotel for an evening cocktail at the outside bar before heading into town. It is worth noting that despite not offering a lunch or dinner at the hotel, you can order in from two different local restaurants and eat it on the outdoor terrace. We did this a couple of evenings and loved it as a change from the hectic town.
The centre of town is a 5 minute taxi drive away but these taxi's had gone up since our last visit and are a flat rate of £5 one way. The reception are happy to order you a taxi.
Make sure you do a boat trip for the day in a gullet. This was undoubtedly our highlight and the team will book it for you.

gorgeous family-run hotel
a truly gorgeous family-run hotel where nothing was too much to ask. fabulous setting just above the bay with well-appointed apartments/rooms. great breakfasts served in lovely shady setting. comfy sunbeds around the pool with bar serving full range of drinks and food.
