Home away from home
Made a booking at Kronans B&B via the web.
Needed to change my booking last minute, which wasn't a problem at all!
The service is outstanding and very friendly.
The rooms are nice and cozy, and the breakfast is good!
My next trip to Sweden will be definitively include sleeping at Kronans!

Cosy, clean, a very welcome feeling
I, my wife and my mother in law needed somewhere to spend one night near Hässleholm, and after checking reviews the Kronans B&B seemed the best choice.
We arrived in the afternoon - checkin time is 16:30 to 18:00. We had some difficulty in locating the building, as it was already dark and we were looking for a large sign with the hotel name on it, which we did not find. However, when we instead looked for the house number we found it. You can't really tell that it's a B&B from outside, there was just a very small sign above the door. There was space for two cars next to the house. The house is located opposite an old regimental area, which is no longer used except for the houses which seem to have been turned into apartments.
We rang the bell and were greeted by what turned out to be one of the owners, who made us feel very welcome. We were shown to our two rooms.
There are just 4 (I think) rooms, all on the upper floor. No lift. This is an old house which had belonged to a doctor, who had his practice on the upper floor, so it's simply a large villa, old but carefully renovated. My mother in law got a single bed room with a small closet with a wash basin, and my wife and I got a twin bedded room. Quite a lot of space in the rooms. Bathroom and toilet were in the corridor and shared between the rooms. All were spotlessly clean and modern.
Each room had a TV with the three free Swedish channels.
Breakfast was served in a small pentry next to the rooms, and there were two tables for the guests - our host said we were also welcome to have the meal in our rooms if we wished. Breakfast was simple but good - boiled eggs, bread, cheese, ham, jam, cucumber slices. Tea, coffee and juice. Also some cereal.
The beds were medium firm, and we slept well. The house was very quiet, no noise from outside or from the other guests. There is wifi in the house, you would need to get the password from the host. We didn't try it because we didn't need it.
This B&B is really good value.
As we probably will have reason to stay more nights in this area next year we will certainly stay at Kronans again.

A very pleasant B&B
This is a great B&B! Fantastic value for money! The room was spacious with a private balcony. The facilities were very good.. The breakfast was excellent. The host was very helpful. I arrived by train and it was about 15 mins walk from the station.

Helt suveränt!
Ett litet mysigt Vandrarhem i centrala Hässleholm, nära till allt. Vi togs väl omhand av värden när vi kom fram. Ett billigt men prisvärt ställe att tillbringa sin vistelse på om man har något ärende till Hässleholm oavsett jobb fritid eller semester. Detta är ett ställe jag rekommenderar resande att välja. Du har tillgång till dusch, tv och ett litet kök. Man blir serverad frukost om man vill det ingår i priset!
