Nice but expensive
But it is too expensive, almost 3000kr for one night and everything costs extra. The food in the restaurant was also not worth the money.

Great location!
The location right by the sea is fantastic, probably one of the best hotel locations in the city. Walking distance to most things. There are several restaurants nearby.
The room was small but for two nights it was okay and we had sea views. A must have drink either on the ground floor or rooftop bar, with the beautiful sea as a view.
A tip is also to go out the small "island" located in front of the hotel, fantastic views towards Ekholmen and Brändaholm.
After staying at Scandic I would say that breakfast and food is not a reason to stay at Scandic as it is usually quite mediocre and sometimes really bad. The breakfast at this hotel is okay, not the worst I've been to. It's about the same range on all Scandic (really boring). A little hectic at breakfast with many visitors and then most sat inside because of a little cool outside.
We did not test the restaurant for the same reason and there are many nice options nearby that are much better. See that many have complained about the food, but yes it's Scandic...
We are very pleased with our stay and especially the location of the hotel. Looks recently renovated too.
