Very fresh Hostel
Nice staff with friendly treatment.
Highly recommend the hostel as an alternative to a hotel.
Well located as a starting point for many activities.
Bonus that you could charge the car.

Lovely old mansion - go there
There is a family who runs it and that shows. Fresh flowers, lit candles and clean.
Go there to see how the more wealthy may have lived in Sweden some +100 years ago.
Wifi and breakfast was great too!

Lovely old mansion, nice choice for money
Our room was in an old wooden wing, which is somewhat more simple and shabby, but very cosy (and also has paintings on the walls)! In November it was warm in the rooms, and the water in the shower was hot from the very first second. There is a big collection of books which one may read (mostly in Swedish) and a kitchen, as well as a common TV-room. Free fast WiFi everywhere, btw.
I would recommend to have a morning walk around the hostel, down to the river: the landscape is very picturesque, nice dreamy place to enjoy autumn frost.
