Amazing cozy place DO NOT MISS
Me and my wife had a really nice weekend at Krägga Herrgård. The overall experience is thoughtful and maintains a high level throughout.
The food was impressive and was more than very good, both the dinners and the breakfast stood out very strongly. The wine selection and the champagne for afternoon tea also kept it an impressively high level and is definitely something to recommend (comparatively much better than Grand Hotel in Stockholm).
The service was consistently professional, warm and committed, which contributed greatly to the experience. The staff gave a personal impression and created a pleasant atmosphere, it is a fantastic family atmosphere that makes it so extra cozy.
The rooms are tastefully decorated with incredibly comfortable beds, beautifully decorated with great shower/bathroom. There is both SPA and two saunas an electric heated and a wood heated which has a hole in the floor that you could directly go into the water, never seen before but really smart solution.
The whole environment is characterized by a clear design idea, the photographs in the manor that are all taken by Knut Koivisto (you who know, you know) add an extra dimension and bind the whole together in a very nice way.
In conclusion, a very well-executed stay that is perfect for a relaxing weekend with that little extra.
Highly recommended both for couples, but also for corporate events (which I will recommend the company I work in).

Warning to dog owners
Had Christmas dinner with the Lucia family in 2025. Have read in several places that Krägga should be a dog friendly hotel. We brought the dog and we have booked a dog room. Everywhere in the garden there are signs “prohibited for dogs”. The dog must not be present in public areas in any building throughout the premises. After a lot of nagging we had to stay outside a conference room. No possibility to buy drinks before Christmas dinner. We had no opportunity to leave the dog in the room for 5 hours. But you don't understand that at Kragga. The Christmas buffet was great, but we experienced it much better last year. Not affordable. But above all, if you have a dog, there are many better options than Krägga Herrgård.

Gunilla, vad tråkigt att din upplevelse blev till full belåtenhet. Glad att du tyckte om vårt julbord. I co med att vi har renoverat alla rum och publika lokaler nyligen och på så sätt fått dem allergisanerade har vi valt att inte ta in hundar. V i har dock ett par rum dedikerade för hundar. Hundar får vistas utomhus på våra ägor kopplade men som sagt inte i de publika lokalerna. Vi beklagar om det blivit ett missförstånd och önskar er välkomna tillbaka och en God Jul!

Happy Manor Weekend
We visited Krägga to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a Herrgårsweekend and are overall very satisfied. Serving at the outdoor spa was a appreciated feature, with friendly and attentive staff. We also felt that the service was good, with nice and professional staff.
The food was well cooked and tasty, and was perceived as better than what we had previously received at similar facilities. Sjö SPA consists of a wood-fired gazebo, hot tub overlooking Lake Mälaren, and two floating sauna cabins – one wood-fired with a hatch in the floor for direct access to the water. Bathing ladders were available on both sauna cabins, which made it easy to get in and out of the lake. The water temperature at the end of August was perfectly acceptable.
Our only remark concerns the beds, which we felt were slightly too hard for our taste.

Wonderful setting.
Nice staff, was well looked after by Vera at the reception.

Fine food solid seafood buffet, fine afternoon tea and four course dinner on Saturday
Spa area lovely, in the wood sauna there was a hatch where you could step down and swim, appreciated despite the cold in the water.

Wonderful stay!
Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful stay at Krägga Manor.
The hotel room was very clean, spacious and comfortable and the decor gave a sense of luxury. The staff were friendly and helpful and made sure that they felt well taken care of throughout the stay.
Fantastic Christmas dinner in the Stallet with both traditional and innovative dishes. The lamb served as a main course was magically good.
We look forward to visiting Kragga again!
