Cozy place

Great food and service. Good, varied and easy to understand menu with wine recommendations for each course. Highly recommended.

The hotel has a great job to do in terms of staff. Service was not good at all. During dinner we had to call the staff to order. They also do their hair. The cod we ate was overcooked and lukewarm, other dishes were approved. Breakfast:, staff had no control at all. We had to ask all the time for what had run out, before refilling . Not even coffee was enough for all guests, there were 4 pots and all stood empty before we pointed out that there is a need for new. Nothing wrong with the breakfast buffet. Completely approved. It is the staff that pulls down the entire stay. nice and quite large rooms, clean and nice.

Signature breakfast that leaves extremely much to be desired

Hotels that promote your breakfast pretty hard on the website, signature breakfast as a label. We have now tested around breakfasts here and there in Östergötland, this was our second breakfast visit to Slottsgården and we are not impressive. The first visit was cautiously ok...quite modest supply but waffle iron saved it up a tad, as well as a scrambled egg which was good. However, a lot, the little extra, like croissants, lacks any chia pudding or alternative to yogurt natural in a well-thumbed and almost empty package. The next visit was miserable. It was offered a dark loaf and some rolls, the bread was a failed bake that fell apart into crumbs, could not even spread spread on, an empty smoothie box and the same with yoggi.....empty and picked already at 8.05 (breakfast starts at 8.00), no one who refills while we were there. Dirty cutlery with leftovers, glasses as well as yesterday's dinner leftovers in the chairs did not heighten the feeling. The "fresh" fruit had probably been in and out of the fridge a few times and was really dry and dull. The waffle iron was now conspicuous by its absence, was strangely replaced with a sandwich grill....that was not plugged in and there was also no bread to make toast....unless it was the idea to put there a roll or 301 crumbs of the dark failed bread. Signature breakfast means galaxies better than this. If you come three people and pay 600, you should expect a good selection with high quality and good hygiene, 2 visits in the space of three weeks makes me note that the hotel does not have a better level than this when it comes to its breakfast that gave more camping feeling than glamour.

Cozy, nice and personal

So cozy, nice and personal hotel. Nice rooms with a lovely home-feeling, super nice staff and really good breakfast. Highly recommended ❤️

Fine dining experience

An excellent dining experience in quiet environment. We ate the pointed cabbage and cod loin, incredibly well cooked and delicious. Good Service. We'd love to come back.
