Best customer service of our trip

We spent about three weeks traveling around Switzerland and had good experiences most places we stayed. The customer service and care at the Adler Hotel deserves special recognition and was the best of our trip. Accommodations were very nice and as described. The bed was very comfortable - we slept great. We were happy to find a fan had been placed in our room when we arrived, as we were there during the recent heat wave, and the fan really helped. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, helpful and clearly interested in making sure we were taken care of. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and the dinner we had there was excellent. Highly recommend the Adler for a stay in Appenzell.

Hotel Adler went Beyond our Expectations, Fantastic Stay !!

We stayed at the Hotel Adler for 4 nights to take advantage of the Appenzell Guest card that offers great value. We arrived slightly earlier and the receptionist , Mathew, was so accommodating and professional, offered us bottles of water and said our room would be ready by 12h30. Mathew offered to take our suitcases up to our room allowing us to wander around the shops without baggage. The room was a good size, clean and the beds very comfortable , we slept soundly each night ! The on suite bathroom was equipped with a shower, toilet , basin and clean fluffy white towels . The personalised post card and free bottles of water were a nice touch. Breakfast each morning was Continental and had a great selection of cheese , cold meats, cereals, bread and a selection of juices and hot drinks. It must be pointed out that Mathew went beyond " the call of duty " and was so very helpful and informative, showing us the swimming spot in the river close to the hotel, nothing was too much to ask of him. The hotel has Leki walking sticks to use, umbrellas and a lovely patio in the front to enjoy a meal. Hotel Adler is a fantastic choice and the staff are friendly !!!

Dream days at the Adler Hotel and in Appenzell

We ended up at the Adler Hotel by chance and enjoyed every minute. Even the arrival was very pleasant. And it continued to be so positive. The breakfast with fresh ingredients and the finest bread is commendable. The room is nicely and practically furnished and has everything it needs. The many practical tips at the reception for our excursions were very helpful. All staff members were always extremely attentive, which left us with a good and welcome feeling.
We gladly recommend the AdlerHotel and will definitely return here.

Hotel Adler great location in Appenzell

Hotel Adler is centrally located. Family run, room was clean, comfortable and quiet at night.
Close to train station and hiking spots.

Great Stay at Adlerhotel

Great location, right in the town center and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and a beautiful hiking trail. It was also incredibly easy to catch the train to anywhere I wanted. Matjaz and his crew were welcoming and accommodating right from check-in. The lady with short hair in a white shirt who I met near the kitchen area gave me a warm hug. So sweet. I had three breakfasts in Adler and the girl serving me every morning was really nice. A special shout-out to Matjaz, who made my trip memorable with excellent local attraction recommendations. They are a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you all from Chih, CA
