Excellent hotel for the disabled

We stayed in this hotel for two days in August 2023. The facilities for my disabled husband were excellent. Everything could be moved/turned on electrically. The beds, the room door, the light, the shutters, etc. etc. The walk-in shower was generous in size.
The room itself could have been a bit more spacious. We were able to use our active hoist precisely and make the turn to the balcony. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a wide choice. And the coffee maker was excellent! The beds slept well.

Hotel on Lake Constance for Handicapped

This is a new hotel. Each room has a huge bathroom that you can drive into and clean up or shower. Our room has a balcony that you can see the hills and forest around Berlingen. Unfortunately not to the lake. The town is old and the streets narrow. Sometimes the sidewalk is so narrow, that a wheel chair has to go into the street. Several of the stores have died in recent times and there are no grocery stores. But there good points it too ! A lovely park on the lake. Several restaurants and an excellant bakery.
There is a boat that comes in here and is possible to get on them with wheelchair. The lake is sometimes high and sometimes low: it was low when we got on it and the ramp quite tilted, however two sailors from the ship came quickly to help. Several other handicapped were also on the ship. Nice trip from Berlingen down the Rhine to Schaffhausen or up to the lake to Constance. Very nice trip. We went to Constance, which is a beautiful city and one can get around easily enough. Good shopping. We went back to Berlingen on the Turbo (train) which is also level to the ground and a wheelchair can get on and off. This goes to St. Gallen or Schaffhausen and into Germany to Singen. (Trains to Zurich have steps and conductors weren’t helpful). So we waited for the Turbo, which comes every half hour. When you get off in Berlingen it is easy to get to the hotel with your wheelchair.

Gemütlicher Kurzurlaub

Das Hotel bietet großzügige Zimmer für die ganze Familie. Die behindertengerechten Betten waren ungewohnt, aber praktisch. Weiter verfügt das Hotel einen schönen Park und einen kleinen Spielplatz. Das Frühstück war lecker. Das Hotel ist gut für Veloferien geeignet.

Ideales Hotel für Leute mit Handicap

Das ganze Hotel ist perfekt eingerichtet für Rollstuhlfahrer. Breite, automatische Türen, grosses Badezimmer mit Haltegriffen etc. Schöner Gemeinschaftsbalkon, sehr schöner Garten mit Pergolas, Bocciabahn, Schach, Feuerstelle etc.
Frühstück sehr reichhaltig, Essen allgemein sehr gut.
Aeusserst freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
Fazit: da geht man sehr gerne immer wieder hin!

Gehegt & Gepflegt

Wir waren erstaunt wie das Hotel eingerichtet ist! Für Rollstuhlfahrer und deren angehörige absolut super. Ich selber hatte nichts zu bemängeln, mit Pflegebett und anderem nützlichem "Schnick-schnack"
Auch die Bewirtung klappte sehr gut und es wurden unsere Wünsche so rasch als möglich erfüllt. Man ist nicht weit vom "Geschehen" und man bekommt gute Informationen im Hotel.
Es ist sicher das wir nicht das letzte mal dort waren!
