Great place to stay!

We were looking for a stop over on the way down to the Italian lakes and wanted somewhere homely and local for our family of 5. And this was the perfect place! Loads of Swiss charm in this little chalet, very comfortable and clean room and beds and super friendly host. Short stroll into the village for dinner and good breakfast included. Totally recommend!

Simple accommodation with limited comfort

I stayed at B&B Rosaly in Château-d’Oex for two nights during the Festival du Ballon, but left early due to the bad weather. The house is often described as cozy, but to me it seemed rather old-fashioned and cluttered. Although it was clean, but due to all the furniture and narrow stairs it didn't feel like it.
A big drawback was the strong smell from the drain in the bathroom – possibly due to weather, but still unpleasant. Sleeping with the window closed was not possible. The owner is friendly and takes care of everything that makes the property look more like a private pension.
If you want to stay directly in Château-d’Oex, you will find simple accommodation here. But I would rather recommend a night in Montreux to festival visitors – the train connection is direct, the journey is nice and you reach the festival grounds in an hour.

Romantic getaway

Awesome experience. We loved it. The rooms were very cute with a great mountain view. The host was very kind friendly and helpful she gave us loads of information of things to do. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful clean rooms with fantastic views

We loved our stay here as it was completely charming. The host was very friendly and accommodating and the breakfasts were excellent too. Rooms clean and quirky with amazing views. The town itself is very quiet with no tourists which we loved . We did a difficult hike from our hotel onto a local mountain where the views were breathtaking.

Wonderful experience

My 3 teenage children and I spent 6 nights here. It was fabulous, so relaxing and enjoyable for all of us. The hosts, Urs and Bebe were so welcoming and helped to make our stay wonderful in every way. We ate here on 2 evenings and it was top class.
We all loved the decor, cleanliness, location, the rooms, beds, shower.. everything!
We could not fault this property or the excellent service.. We all highly recommend Rosaly B&B and would love to stay there again.
