Cosy and stylish hotel in great scenery !

Rarely seen such a lovingly designed hotel interior, stylish and at the same time cozy ! Very nice staff from reception to restaurant service, all top. We surprisingly got a free room upgrade, which we were very pleased about.
The food in the hotel (3 course menu) for 69 CHF was very delicious, top quality and nicely arranged. Even a la carte there was enough choice for every taste something.
The only thing that needs improvement is the sauna area. Both Finnish sauna , and steam sauna are very small (for max. 4 people) and could do with a renovation. The entire area is unfortunately very narrow. The indoor pool offers much more space and relaxation area for relaxing.

Absolutely recommended

The hotel is located somewhat remotely in a quiet mountain setting, but is very easily accessible and you can be in Olten in less than 20 min, for example. It is a good starting point for hikes or bike tours. The friendliness and service orientation of the entire staff is at a truly very high level, really in all areas of the house, from the reception upon arrival to the restaurant and wellness area, all the way to the farewell. The selection of food and drinks is very good and very tasty at both breakfast and in the restaurant. We were surprised by the range of massages, physical therapy, and medical care. There is an on-site pool with a 25 m lane, which, like everything else in the building, is also wheelchair accessible. Even though the hotel is getting on in years and not all rooms are up to modern standards yet, everything is clean and well-maintained. We would love to come back!

Great place for body and soul

Spacious and clean rooms, good beds for a restful sleep. We had half board and were spoiled culinary. The wellness offer is creative, but the sauna, steam bath and spring bath are getting old. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is surrounded by greenery and the surroundings are very quiet.
