Simple, but okay!

The location in the pedestrian area of Mendrisio is perfect. The room was simple but quite okay. Breakfast was very simple. Since the parking situation in Mendrisio is rather difficult, it is recommended to park the car in a parking garage.

Stay at the Garni Hotel

Excellent establishment with really good value for money. Old hotel with beautiful, very clean room, very pleasant, quiet, welcoming located in the picturesque old town.

Perfect stopover

Authentic small overnight place only a short drive from the highway. Clean. Comfortable. No fuzz. Affordable. Very nice reception. Breakfast included. Great restaurants nearby. To be repeated next time

Pleasant Mendrisio hotel

This small, family-run hotel is a great find and good value. It is in Mendrisio’s historic center, on the prettiest street in the old town, and walking distance from everything. The rooms are large but basic. Beds are comfortable and the free WiFi had good connectivity. The breakfast is basic as well, but sufficient and quite tasty. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely stay here again when we are next in Mendrisio.
We were here during the Easter procession, and right from our window, we were able to view each procession in its entirety. If you plan on visiting for that event, then this would be a great hotel for you.

Per chi si accontenta di poco

Edificio centrale e quindi vecchio che sente tutto il peso degli anni ed è particolarmetne caldo.
Doccia scomodissima e bagno che andrebbe rinnovato.
Moquette nelle stanze.
Asciugamani sdruciti.
Letto che cede.
Colazione essenziale.
Il gerente - one man show - si impegna molto ed è gentile, ma decisamente non è sufficiente.
Per una notte e via va bene anche perché c'è un comodissimo parcheggio comunale (gratuito la notte) a due passi, altrimenti ci si deve accontentare.
