Perfect accommodation with a wonderful hostess

Lise is extremely personable and with her friendly authentic helpful nature the perfect hostess. The house is very tastefully decorated and super clean. Very nice rooms with comfortable beds. Very nice quiet location overall, but for dinner you can easily walk to the village. Very varied delicious breakfast with homemade jam and local köse. Great fresh bread and cakes from super buckery. Even celiac wishes were immediately taken into account. Overall absolutely and fully recommended. Were sad that we only stayed one night at the B&B of Lise...

Mushrooms with Lise

We didn't book an overnight stay at Lise's, but we took her to the woods, mushrooming.
It was a super great day and we got to know many different mushroom species. Lise was very attentive, explained everything to us and showed us quite great places ;-)
Afterwards we went to Lise, were able to determine some unknown mushrooms. Afterwards there was an aperitif with porcini carpaccio and an excellent mushroom pan.
We can highly recommend the Mushrooms with Lise event. We got along magnificently and had a great day in the woods and at Lise. Thanks for that

Wie die Zeit vergeht! In ein paar Monaten ist schon wieder Pilzsaison. Ich bin sicher ihr werdet zusammen mir eurem Sohn viele schöne Pilze finden. Nach dem nächsten Regen werde ich mich auf die Suche nach den ersten Esspilzen im Frühling machen! Morcheln! Diese sind nicht so einfach zu finden wie Steinpilze… Euch danke ich nochmals für den Pilz-Kurs Besuch und wünsche alles Gute!!

Lovely location. Nice Room, but…

Loved the location a bit out of town in a beautiful area. The. Owe and green and trails at your door we’re wonderful. Room was nice and well appointed. breakfast was healthy and minimalist. We appreciated the pick up and drop off at the train because it’s a bit hilly hauling luggage. Appreciated dropping off luggage before five. Didn’t like the lack of an indoor common area, having to do two flights of stairs in mandatory house slippers that were floppy -especially on the second flight that had no hand rail, and had no idea we could have done laundry.

The garden, the terrasse and the dining room are common area. You could even sit in the leaving room if you ask. The all house is without shoes, so slippers are mandatory if you don‘t have your own. If you had difficulty in the stairs, you could have take them off. Or just tell me or change them. I am sorry you didnt feel confortable. By booking the room I also could have give you a room in the first floor, so you wouldnt have to claim so many stairs. When guests have difficulties by stairs or other, I will always try to make your stay easy and comfortable!
My breakfast is one of the best in town: with fresh fruits, homemade yoghurt, different cereals, homemade granola, bread, cheese from the village (urnäscher Käse), 2-3 homemade jam, honey, coffee, cappucino, tea, hot or cold chocolat. Everybody loves it!

Wonderful Experience

Spent a wonderfully happy weekend at Chez Lise and had a really lovely time. Our party was beautifully welcomed and cared for. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast fresh and delicious, and supper tasty and filling - all locally sourced, of course. Our hostess, Lise, had great suggestions and ways to enjoy the locale. It is a really beautiful location. A truly great NE Swiss experience within easy reach of Zurich.

After more then 2 years, it would be time to come back! The place is still wonderfull and they are a lot of trekking and other tours you could do!

Visit

The place was very cozy and the host exceptionally welcoming. Every room had a personal touch and made us feel right at home. A perfectly warm place surrounded by nature. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
