Great location only five minutes or so to Old Town Zurich.
Nice breakfast and helpful staff.
Room fairly basic but was fine as we were out most of the time.
No safe deposit box in room which was unexpected and not ideal.

I’ve stayed in better hostels than this place, rooms smaller than cruise ship room. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This hotel is barely a step up from a hostel. In fact, in my youth I more fondly remember many hostels that were cleaner, larger, kinder and more comfortable than this place. The staff members are rude and give no welcome or support, the rooms are as small as a shoebox (smaller than anything in Manhattan NYC and any cruise ship room I’ve ever been in). The AC didn’t work because it isn’t supposed to get above 80 in Zurich so our only option was to open windows and hear the street noise or sleep in a sweat box. We got a handicap room and the sink sat directly above me while I was on the toilet with the shower curtain touching me. water got all over the floor when we tried to shower from the faulty design. There was so much noise since my room was directly across from the elevator. The breakfast buffet was a hot mess with people dropping and breaking glass and crowding and staff members telling me - “you go get your coffee mug there yourself” when I asked for them- and both coffee machines had no mugs left. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location within a 5-10 minute walk of the train station, depending on your speed, luggage and amount of stairs and construction you encounter along the way. I WOULD NEVER stay here again. There is also no safe in the room, and not even a phone to call the front desk or housekeeping for help or support. The bathroom door swung out so far it came within 6 inches of the bed, and there is NO SPACE despite my including that we were 2 adults and a child in the room. And yet it was still 350 Swiss Franc. ACCOR should be ashamed to associate themselves with this awful “hotel.”

Different and Cute

Another classic from İbiş, another concept hotel with a unique design; on this tour, after Munich, our choice in Zurich was again the İbiş Hotel. Of course I'm not surprised. As always, it's a different design, a different hotel. Clean, safe, and very close to the city center. Within walking distance of the train station and FlixBus terminal. It stands out with its concept and charming rooms. The staff are friendly, the lobby is spacious and nice. I didn't have breakfast, but from what I saw, it was similar to Munich. Unlimited tea and coffee are complimentary in the lobby. The restaurant section is always open and there's always something to eat. Bar service is available. I really liked the lobby bar area, which resembled a café. I'm happy with my choice of Ibiş. I recommend you try the change.

Highly disappointing hotel.

I stayed in this hotel from 3-5 July. I am a longstanding Accor Loyalty Programme member and this is my first negative experience of an Accor Hotel.
As a gold member, I am entitled to be offered an upgrade if available. Whilst I never expect an upgrade, in this instance I really feel I was automatically allocated a downgrade.
My allocated room was disabled access which meant the bathroom was essentially a wet room with an unhygienic shower curtain, it had zero AC and no in-room safe. Additionally the bathroom smelled of rotten drains. After much negotiation with the front desk staff, we managed to secure a fan to alleviate the heat, and thankfully they managed to deal with the rotten drains smell.
At check in I was not given a map of the locality, WiFi access info or details on breakfast.
Accor members receive a free welcome drink at the bar during each stay. In all my years as an Accor member, this is the very first time that we were treated like second class citizens for using this voucher. The tall thin blond lady working in the bar on Friday 3 July did not treat us well at all. Usually, guests take a seat and drinks with complimentary nibbles are brought to them. This is the very first time I have experienced deliberately different treatment for the loyal Accor members. We were not offered complimentary nibbles and required to wait at the bar for the drinks whilst all paying customers were treated differently. When I offered to show the server the redeemed vouchers she specifically stated that I only needed to redeem them and not show them to her. She then waited for me to close the app before demanding to see them, and with signal being weak this took unnecessary time. She made us very uncomfortable throughout our interaction with her.
The breakfast at the hotel is fine and the hotel location is good.
Ibrahim on reception was very helpful when asked for tourism advice. The bar staff working on Sat 4 July were friendly and helpful and treated us well (however we were paying that day).
If travelling to Zurich again, I would avoid this hotel at all costs.

Air conditioning unable to cool room even with -3 deg C setting. Complained about the heat in the room & Hotel had to provide stand fan to keep the room cool enough to sleep. Not worth the high price paid for the room.
