Concierge is world class helpful
We came to Harbin for the primary reason of visiting the Ice and Snow Festival and Sun Island. Hence we stayed for 3 nights.
This hotel’s concierge team are priceless! They are a huge asset to the business. We were so impressed with the way they helped us with how to get to places, restaurant recommendations. Thank you for recommending “Tun Er Ya”. Though the team are not fluent in English, we ourselves have very basic Chinese speaking skills. When things got lost in translation- use the Translation App!! (which occurred very frequently for us). What they lack in English, it’s made up by bucket loads of enthusiasm and positive attitude. Can’t praise them enough!!. Thank you to the night Concierge guy who gave me a chinese pear. It was the juiciest pear I have seen - I could squeeze juice out with my bear hands. In summary the concierge team is friendly, helpful and generous. Thanks for making my trip to Harbin special & memorable. I am sorry I didn’t ask for their names, else I could list them here.
The room is very spacious and clean. I felt at home. The bed is very comfortable. Room was serviced daily . The bathroom was very clean too.
Breakfast buffet is inexpensive with a good variety on offer. The food variety was good and so very delicious!
Location wise - it’s roughly a 20mins taxi ride to the Ice and Snow show, 25mins to Sun Island. It’s not in Harbin city central. By taxi to the city is roughly 30mins.
I would highly recommend this hotel without hesitation.

staff a men was not nice,not friendly, no smile and bed service when I check in,

The hotel itself is nice. We were however unprepared for the traffic jams to be endured when moving from place to place.

It was a pleasant stay at Crowne plaza Harbin. We were a family of 5 traveling together with friends. We enjoyed our stay there. Room was clean, comfortable bed and good service.

I have stayed at different Crowne Plaza’s in China. All have been of a very similar standard. I was not impressed with this one. The room was was cold. There was a draft from the window. The room was so cold my gf decided to sleep in her robe. The robe was put in the washing basket but it was not replaced but just folded up. We could smell smoke coming from other people’s rooms on our floor.
The breakfast was OK if you would like to eat cereals. The coffee was instant and the western section of food e.g beans, sausages and bacon were cold.
They have a bar but it is best to order beer rather than wine. The wine didn’t taste like it should. We were very disappointed. Perhaps, it was stored incorrectly..
The staff were friendly but spoke very little English. It appeared like we were the only westerners in this hotel. Overall, we would not stay here again.
