Good stay but would be wonderful if there’s a fridge

It seemed that all Ibis-branded hotels are operated by a local company and thus the usual Accor benefits do not apply. Nevertheless the stay has been wonderful with the staff being very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and the housekeeping staff really clean every corner of the room. The only issue we had was that the absence of a small fridge that is usually found in most if not all hotels.
The location was good with a couple shopping malls a stone throw away as well as convenience stores too. Beside the hotel was a 24-hour shop selling ‘过桥米线’ and they tasted really good. A washer and dryer were also available and the staff informed that they can help us with the laundry if needed.
I would stay here again if I need to be in the area next time.

Awesome Location

Location is excellent - just 5 minutes walk from Dong Feng Square metro and central to everything. Plenty of food and shopping options as well which is wonderful.
We stayed a night here before departing for Lijiang; and then 3 nights when we returned from Lijiang so we got to experience the room with and without a window. Both were okay frankly, however both rooms had its own issues eg the earlier room’s bidet didn’t work and the rain shower didn’t work in the second room. It’s important to note that the room doesn’t come with a fridge and a safe.
A little challenging to communicate with the staff when we needed something - often we had to go down to the reception and use Google translate which was not a problem but some staff were not very happy to assist.
Nevertheless, it was overall a good stay. Clean and comfortable. Location is unbeatable and they do also have a washing machine and dryer - free for guests to use - which was a nice touch.

Outstanding

I had a very happy stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. The room was beautiful, very clean, and spacious, which made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Even though I only stayed for 1 night, I really enjoyed my experience here. Highly recommended!

We were impressed with the service of all staff here. The Front Office staff welcomed us with welcome drink and snacks. Other staff were also very helpful when then hair dryer in our room did not work. Room is clean and breakfast is very worth than money we spent! Highly recommend! Location is good to shopping places and food and shopping street.

Good service and location.
However, toilet area has a musky smell. Most likely due to overall ventilation.
Overall, still a pleasant stay with great service staff.
