Great service and beautiful stay.

Excellent stay over 3 nights. Beautiful property, great views, and quality sleep. Standout service from Rose, who welcomed me sincerely,proactively assisted with my itinerary, safety, and altitude concerns—true genuine care. Also thanks to Mia for ticket assistance. Breakfast could improve, but overall highly recommended. Will return on next Shangri-La trip.

Visiting Shangri-La with Shangri-La is a must.

The city itself is beautiful. But to make a trip to Shangri-La, I believe you should stay at the Shangri-La. The decor, the friendliness of the staff, and the proximity to what you need to be close to. I feel this place deserves going to. The buffet is good. For breakfast, the options are there. I think the dinner buffet is good as well, considering where you are and what the food options are. I think that's great. I do think that sometimes you will compete for food with tour groups, which has its unique nuances. Besides that, I firmly believe that this is the hotel to stay at when visiting Shangri-La.

Nice hotel, beautifully decoration in lobby and common areas. Rooms on the small side do Chinese standards, but good enough. Furniture for me was reaching its life limit for me, but comfortable indeed. Short on facilities (just one restaurant) and if you want to have a drink at the bar, the challenge is to find a waiter as they are the same attending the restaurant and they need to run for one end to the other. Waiters however, really nice and helpful

Live up to Shangrila’s standard

Most of the staff are really welcoming and the hotel itself also equipped with great amenities. The room were well-decorated and were really comfortable since they provided you with humidifier and oxygen infuser(you really need it in that altitude and that temperature). Additionally, the breakfast was tasteful and had so many choices. Lastly, I wanna give a special shoutout to the gentlelady in the lounge who was not only welcoming us to their lounge with hospitality but also help us dressing up in Tibetan dress with great suggestions regarding the outfit. The gentleman driver who picked us up at the train station and help carried the bag to our room and the front desk staff who recommended great restaurant and transportation. This is a memorable experience I’ll never forget

Very clean up to shang rila standard

Very clean hotel. Housekeeping really up to the standards of shang ri la chain. Wish can stay longer. Front office did not explain so much about the activities in the hotel turn out ever afternoon have some tibetan tea cermony and small dance
