The hotel is just a few hundred metres away from the boat terminal for the West Lake. It is on a busy shopping area with everything you can ask for. Walkable to the night market too!
Service is great. Rooms are a bit dated but comfortable and clean. The hotel is well taken care of. Breakfast is delicious !

A Disastrous Stay – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs
I rarely write reviews, but my experience at this hotel was so bad, I feel compelled to warn others. The service here is abysmal, and I would not recommend staying here under any circumstances.
First off, there is no in-room toilet or water supply. You have to go to the front desk to "mention" to get these basic amenities. It felt like a downgrade to basic living standards, not what you expect from a paid hotel stay.
Upon checking into my room, I immediately noticed cockroaches crawling around that came through the sink. I tried to be patient, assuming it was just an isolated issue, but when I raised my complaint to the staff, they did upgrade my room (albeit begrudgingly). However, the "upgrade" was only a temporary fix, as the very next night, I woke up with a spider crawling on my forehead! Absolutely disgusting.
I brought the spider to the front desk as evidence and demanded a meeting with management. The senior manager, Ms. Tao, was dismissive and unapologetic, claiming that she had already "upgraded" my room, as if that should have somehow solved everything.
The situation only got worse. The next day, I found mosquitoes and flies buzzing around my room. Again, I raised my concerns with the hotel staff. Their response? They tried to spray chemicals in my room, which only caused my throat to itch and made me cough uncontrollably. The so-called solution to their problem only made things worse.
I’m honestly appalled by the lack of care or concern for guests’ well-being. This hotel is quick to take your money, but offers absolutely no quality in return. It’s filthy, unprofessional, and management is completely indifferent to any complaints or concerns. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable stay with basic services, stay far away from this hotel.
It’s truly disappointing that such a place is allowed to operate. Save yourself the headache and choose a different hotel.

The hotel is located in a great location. Loved the convenient location, close to West Lake and shopping street. Rooms were dated, but cleanliness and toiletries were good . Hairdryer was not strong and it took me a long time to dry my long hair. Front desk staff, Max Deng is warm & thougttful. He helped us to arrange courier to send our luggage to Suzhou. I really appreciate how he wemt above and beyond to call our hotell in Suzhou to lookout for the delivery. He even updated me on the status of the delivery. Thank you for being so helpful & attentive. Your dedication is impressive.

Nice hotel with great views of West Lake. Breakfast buffet was very good and had a special noodle dish that was excellent. Would stay here again when coming back to Hangzhou.

The locally-well-established Hangzhou Xinqiao Hotel is in an exceptional location: short walk to 西湖 , the Metro (direct line from-to the airport etc), major Malls and is surrounded by a good range of food/ beverage outlets.
The Hotel has a roof-top viewing area with seats for a leisurely view of 西湖 and the commercial/ residential areas around.
Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. As it is an older hotel, expect the furniture and carpet to be slightly worn.
There are pay-per-use washing machines (included detergent) and dryers 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The Hotel has a roof-top viewing area with seats for a leisurely view of 西湖 and the commercial/ residential areas around.
Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. As it is an older hotel, expect the furniture and carpet to be slightly worn.
