MADERA is my top choice ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
BEST LOCATION + EXCELLENT SERVICE
I’ve visited Hong Kong annually for years and stayed at various hotels on Nathan Road. My requirements:
- near MTR station & Airport bus stops
- in a safe area with eateries, shops & supermarkets
- comfortable, well equipped & quiet room
Post COVID, my regular hotel closed. After much research, I picked MADERA due to good online reviews. After three memorable stays, MADERA has become my home in HK
❤️ Near stops to&fro for Airport bus A21
❤️ 3 min walk to Jordan MTR exit B
❤️ hotel is at a side street off Nathan Road, so it’s convenient without direct exposure to traffic noise
❤️ friendly, responsive & helpful staff who are genuinely interested in giving great service
❤️ boutique hotel concept with 3-4 rooms per floor
❤️ rooms come with everything a traveller needs including toiletries, refreshments and a weighing machine to check luggage weight. TV channels include Netflix.
❤️key card access & double locks in rooms
Highlights of my previous stays
April 2026
- Booked 4N directly with MADERA and asked staff for help with an upcoming event. Guest Service Manager Alfred Chow fulfilled my dream of watching a Grasshopper concert in Hong Kong Coliseum!
- My stay was sweetened with an upgrade to a premium room on the 26th floor
January 2026
- My desired dates for MADERA were not available at Trip.com and I had to book Wake Concept Hotel at Yau Ma Tei. After a terrible first night, I left. (Do read my detailed Google review on what happened.)
- I checked into MADERA at higher rates due to last minute direct booking and was supposed to spend 3N in three different rooms.
- On my first night at MADERA, I got a disturbing email from Trip.com about cancelling my other hotel booking. I was so stressed, frustrated and near tears. It was midnight when I went to MADERA reception and spoke with Guest Service Manager Alfred Chow about my predicament. He listened attentively and gave great advice which eventually led to a successful refund via Trip.com
- Also, after my one night in a regular room, MADERA upgraded me to a suite on the 27th floor which I was only supposed to get on the last night. The unexpected kind gesture meant less hassle as I didn’t need to change rooms again. It also put me in a more positive mood after a terrible start to my holiday.

- It was my first time at MADERA and I booked 4N via an online agent.
- After my first night, I wrote down what I needed to be more comfortable as it was winter.
- Staff at reception were attending to other guests but when Front Office Manager Fiona Wong looked at me, I passed her the note. After a glance, she nodded and smiled. When I returned to my room later, a heater, a hard pillow and extra blanket have been delivered. A wordless encounter resulted in this outcome and I wasn’t charged extra for these items. It was then I decided MADERA will be my TOP choice going forward.

Great find in HK trip
Such a great find, there’s relaxing scent in lobby. We also spent a nice evening at the rooftop bar, and the skyline views up there were incredible for relaxing with a drink. Another highlight was Jennifer at the front desk, she was super sweet and actually gave us a room upgrade for my birthday, which was such an awesome surprise! Would definitely stay here again!!

Great experience.
Great experience for the first time in Hong Kong - convenient location and reasonable cost
I am a tourist from Vietnam and this is my first time visiting Hong Kong. Before leaving, I was pretty worried about moving as well as room costs here. However, a stay at the Hotel Madera Hong Kong in Jordan gave me an experience beyond my expectations.
The hotel is located in Jordan with a great location. From here, I only took a few minutes walk to the MTR Jordan subway station. Moving to popular sights such as Tsim Sha Tsui or Mong Kok is quick and easy. Around the hotel there are plenty of good local food, which makes it easy for me to explore Hong Kong cuisine right near the accommodation.
Everyone knows the cost in Hong Kong is very expensive, but I find the room price at Hotel Madera extremely reasonable compared to the quality received. The bedroom is not very spacious but very clean, neat and full of necessary amenities. The bed is very comfortable, helping me recover from a long day of sightseeing.
What impressed me most was the support from a receptionist named Elaine. As a first time visitor, I was very excited about local transportation. Ms. Elaine served very enthusiastically, agile and helped me book a pickup service to the airport conveniently. Thanks to this, my return trip went very smoothly without worrying about heavy luggage.
I would definitely return to Hotel Madera if I had the opportunity to return to Hong Kong and would recommend this place to friends and family in Vietnam.
