Nice hotel - Lujia Village Guilin
The village is a wonderful place to stay in and has a different character to the city which is at most 30 minutes away. This hotel is nice and well presented with good low cost rooms offering a great value stay in a part of Guilin that offers a nice perspective. Plenty of restaurants nearby this excellent little hotel

Clean and comfortable rooms with great views and excellent concierge service
We stayed in Lujia Village for three nights during which we were able to visit the rice terraces, travel the Li river by bamboo boat, see the ancient town of Da Xu, climb up to a mountain overlooking Guilin, spelunk in the Reed Flute Cave, and walk about town. All of this was made possible by the excellent staff at the Flower Inn. The proprietor is quite friendly and has picked some local guides who ensure that your adventures will be stunning. The rooms are well appointed with excellent bathrooms and nice touches in the bedroom. Sitting in the pop-out window box while drinking tea in the morning is just lovely. Lujia Village seems to be a trendy date night spot for the locals with fine dining options and pleasant outdoor seating. I highly recommend staying at the Flower Inn while you visit Guilin.

Decent hotel in Lujia village, Guilin
This hotel is located in the traditional Lujia village of Guilin. Lujia village is a a nice place, located close to Red flute cave on an island in the river and therefore feels a bit secluded. It’s a traditional village and make for a good stroll/visit if you stay at the hotel. There are shops and restaurants close to the hotel. The hotel has a traditional exterior. The hotel lobby also looks traditional. The staff are friendly and speaks decent English. Payment with an international credit card was possible. The place was quite affordable and breakfast was included. Breakfast was simple and ok. Both Chinese and western (toast, jam, eggs, bacon etc) food were available. The room was decent and clean. Lighting was a bit dim but adds to ambiance if you like that. Bed was comfortable and the room had several amenities like water kettle and air-conditioning but no fridge. The space with the low table and traditional tea set was a nice addendum. Bathroom was clean and shower was nice. So overall, it is a decent hotel with a good price for what you get. I definitely can recommend this hotel.

Decent hotel for the price!
The Flower Inn hotel in Guilin is a decent hotel for a good price. The staff is really kind and speaks good english. The rooms are clean and beautiful.
There are a lot of smalls shops and good restaurants nearby so you can get everything at anytime.
The only minus is the breakfast which is really basic and with few options like toast and bacon.
Then there is no elevator which can be a problem for some but for us it didnt matter that much.
All in all very nice hotel with good staffs :-)

Sweetest and most helpful staff ever!
My friends and I, a group of 4, stayed here for a 4 night sightseeing trip of Guilin. Our room was excellent in all respects - very clean, comfortable, spacious, with AC, beautiful views, etc. Breakfast was super tasty (great fried noodles, dumplings, and porridge!). Most notably, the staff is extremely kind and helpful, happily providing advice on best sights to see and which to skip, as well as having pricing information on most items and give options for tours booked through the hotel. We ended up taking the hotel's suggestion on a booking for touring the Li River and the rice terrace fields; both bookings were cheaper than pricing found on Tripadvisor and other tour finding websites, and were much more convenient and personable for a smaller party if you wished. The tour guides also spoke english. For scale, we stopped by a help desk in the Guilin airport that suggested a few tours -- after we got to the hotel, we realized that these tours were priced at 2-3x what our hotel staff offered us. We booked one day's tour before getting to the hotel through this airport help desk, which was a huge mistake; the driver did not speak english, the pricing was again 2-3x what our hotel could offer us, and of the 3 locations visited, 2 were uninteresting (in fact, the hotel staff took a look at our tour itinerary when we got back to the hotel before we left for the tour, and warned that the same 2 were not worth visiting). On all fronts, booking through the hotel was better: the staff are much more kind and helpful, and not at all pushy, book much cheaper tours, and much more interesting tours with kinder tour guides.
We would highly recommend anyone coming to the area to stay at this fantastic hotel. You will not get a better hotel experience anywhere else, not even including the very reasonable nightly rate.
