Stunning suite room and superb executive lounge
Pros.
- The complete hotel interior is modern and complemented by numerous modern design objects
- The upgrade to the outstanding suite room was a truly impressive experience. The layout and design of this extremely spacious rooms connected with different doors would be my unforgettable moment from my stay experience
- The executive lounge at the top floors offers a wonderful view of city skyscrapers. The food was great and tasty
- The chairs from the breakfast buffet were so comfortable compared to other hotels
- The complete hotel interior is modern and complemented by numerous modern design objects

This is a very new hotel. The room is very spacious, all facilities are in quite good conditions. It close to Taiyuan Street which used to be very popular shopping area in Shenyang but not now. The traffics in this area are always busy. You may need to wait for longer time to call a taxi or uber. Buffet breakfast is standard, a lot of variety of food. But there is no fresh juice, only tea coffee and milk.

I arrived hotel in the morning and didn’t expect I can get check in. But the front desk girl is very polite and helpful. She managed to find a room and let me checked in straight away!

Lovely hotel, however after travelling all day we ordered room service at the end of the day. Unfortunately, me and my partner got food poisioning from the food making the rest of our travel very hard. We asked staff about extending our visas as we didn’t think we would make our flight due to the illness and staff didn’t know anything and were unable to signpost us to any support.

Disappointing Service & Inconvenient Location
My stay at Le Méridien Shenyang Heping was quite disappointing, primarily due to poor service and an underwhelming environment.
First, the service was extremely indifferent. In the restaurant, placing an order was nearly impossible as staff ignored requests. When asking the chef about certain food items, I received impatient and dismissive responses. To make matters worse, there was no notification when the food was ready, making the entire dining experience frustrating and inconvenient. This level of service is far below what one would expect from a hotel of this brand.
Second, the overall hotel environment was mediocre at best. While the bedding was comfortable, there wasn’t much else to praise. Additionally, the location is not ideal, as it is quite far from the nearest metro station, making transportation less convenient.
Overall, this stay was not a pleasant experience and did not meet the standards associated with the Le Méridien brand. Unless there are significant improvements in service quality, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
