I like the staff here, very professional. The robot delivery of requested items and food was convenient. Good location. Overall, a great hotel to stay.

Can’t Wait to Return!
I booked a 10-night stay here based on my coworker’s recommendation — and she was absolutely right! Hyatt House Chengdu Pebble Walk far exceeded my expectations.
Despite arriving late (around 11 PM), the check-in process was seamless and efficient. My one-bedroom suite was flawless: spacious, comfortable, and meticulously clean. Having a separate living area and a fully equipped kitchen made it easy to unwind and feel at home after long days. I was especially pleased to find a self-service laundry, which meant I could refresh my clothes during the stay — a small but incredibly convenient perk!
The staff truly went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The front desk team was consistently warm, professional, and helpful. At one point, I had a minor issue with the laundry machine, and they not only sent someone to assist me right away but also collected my laundry and delivered it to my room once it was done — amazing service!
Every staff member I interacted with was thoughtful and kind. One standout was the housekeeper, who always greeted me with a smile and friendly conversation. She even noticed how much I enjoyed the in-room tea and made sure to leave me extra tea bags and bottled water every day — such a thoughtful gesture.
Breakfast each morning was another highlight — a generous spread with fresh, delicious options, including a made-to-order noodle station. I appreciated that they featured different local Sichuan specialties daily, giving me the chance to try something new and authentic every morning.
The location is also fantastic — just about a 25-minute taxi ride from the airport, and directly across from a large shopping mall, which made it easy to grab meals, shop, or just walk around.
In short, this hotel felt like a home away from home. Exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, thoughtful touches, and a perfect location — I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu.

Going above and beyond
This property was a little further out from city centre and does not have a high category status but I thought I'll give it a go so I have a sense of the range of options Hyatt offered in Chengdu. I was blown away by the quality of the property and service in particular. I had luggage stored at another hotel and staff went above and beyond to collect it for me. My 84 year old mother decided to join the visit and they accommodated her with zero fuss and she fell extremely welcome. We were given lots of local tips and everything was just so helpful which we appreciated. Claire Zhang stood out for us the most amongst an already great team who are clearly committed to providing excellent service. I have already booked a return visit and look forward to it.

A Hyatt Palace and Hyatt House Combo in Chengdu
The Hyatt House Chengdu Pebble Walk is located at the outskirt of Chengdu. It is pretty close to subway line 5, and located next to a new community-oriented shopping district with a number of eateries conveniently nearby.
The facility combines a Hyatt Palace (at lower part of the building) with a Hyatt House (at upper part of the building). Some levels of the building have also been rented out to other business/offices. Both hotels share the lobby, receptionist at the 1st floor, the buffet breakfast at the 3rd floor, and the self-service laundry at the 17th floor. The laundry is RMB 20 for a wash cycle, and RMB 20 for a dry cycle, both with Speed Queen machine. You will need to pay via WeChat/Alipay.
I got a twin room at Hyatt House. The room is fairly standard, with a small sitting area, a sofa, and a shower, toilet and a bathroom area (no bathtub). The room looks out to a wasteland, which seems to be abandoned, with vegetation climbing on top of the remain of a building in the middle of the city.
The hotel offers all guest a breakfast buffet, with both Chinese and Western variety. The highlight is a manned noodle station, which serves Chengdu local noodle (variety rotated throughout the week).
