Affordable Bright Bliss

Went up for a boys weekend and had a blast. Accommodation was neat, cosy and very affordable. Loved the relaxed vibe and all the places to sit around and relax. Great location within walking distance of town and plenty of sport and recreation options literally across the road. Staff were super friendly and provided some great recommendations for activities and places to eat in the area. Counting down the days until we go back!!!

"Run a mile"

Booked cabin 12 MONTHS in advance for a stay in May 2025 and booked in person. Owners insist on full payment for booking (NOT deposit and balance paid closer to arrival date) and utterly refused to accept cash, yet I was charged extra fee for using a debit card NOT a credit card.
Checked their website in Dec 2024 and a week before my arrival, both times exact cabin I had booked and same number of nights was advertised at $40 cheaper! Checked again day after I left and advertised at $20 cheaper. Does not pay to book early with these people.
Since found other cabins and their facilities in Bright area, have been updated and refurbished for the same price or small insignificant increase in price. Apart from maybe a lick of paint, this caravan park's cabins are the same as the day they were built, question whether structure still contains asbestos.

Think twice b4 booking

We booked a short stay and had to cancel it after having to pay in full. My 85 year old father has ended up in hospital with shingles and an undiagnosed heart problem. Anyway after several calls and emails all we got back was an email saying reference to our terms and conditions. We are disgusted in there lack of empathy. One can only imagine the type of owners/managers running this business.

WORST NIGHTMARE

STAY AWAY!!! If I could give this place a negative score - I would. Never have I experienced such unprofessionalism and unaccommodating behaviour from staff. Our holiday was cancelled due to the current Victorian COVID lockdown, which made it illegal for us to travel on the booked dates. The accommodation provider has repeatedly refused to refund us the money and is now not communicating. There's no flexibility, no understanding or care for any matter. Let me add that at the time of booking I selected the 'pay at accommodation' option, because I was booking for multiple people. The accommodation provider ignored that and charged my credit card a week ahead of time for the full amount! What a waste of $400, I am disgusted.

Bad attitude and lazy staff

Insanely rude staff and tired facilities. I spent a night and although the owners are on site, they don’t bother with incoming visitors. Irresponsible and bad service. I would never come back to this place as on makes my holiday bad. These people are naturally bad.
