Spotless room and exceptionally friendly staff
We stayed here before and ( because we were so impressed by the the staff) after hiking in the national park.
The proprietor is exceptionally friendly and helpful: he didn’t have EV chargers but is in the process of installing them — but gave us a room where we could plug into a granny charger overnight instead.
The room we had was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a lovely view over paddocks to the mountains.
We felt that this is the kind of place where staff genuinely care about customer service, and that if we had other requests they would do their best to meet them. This is a surprisingly rare thing in regional accommodation so we were pleased to find it here.

Hidden Gem
A little out of Mount Beauty, but a hidden gem! Travelled with a motorcycle group and we were all pleasantly delighted to find a beautiful swimming pool after a long hot ride. The accommodation a little dated but, clean, comfortable and quiet with all facilities required. We were all looking forward to an Indian meal in the restaurant and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic and all the staff very accommodating. Delightful motel and would definitely book again!

Hotel was clean and comfortable, I bit dated but this didn't hold back its comfort.
Pet friendly, very welcoming and friendly staff.
Ideally located almost at the base of Mount Bogong for my stay and no noise to complain about from other rooms.
Car parks are a very tight squeeze though, I would park out on the road next time.

Great hotel with kitchen facilities, laundrette & pool - with awesome Indian Food!
My wife and I stayed here last night. The manager, an Indian gentleman from Delhi named Lucky, was great. Lucky is also the chef and if you like reasonably priced, good quality Indian cuisine then this place is for you. The restaurant/bar area is much better than expected and comes with great views of the local Tawonga/Mt Beauty area.
We'd been camping in the Alpine Park reserve so were able to wash our clothes in the Motel's machine & drier - great! We also washed up all our dishes in their kitchen so we're good to go again. We even had a great swim n their pool before we went for dinner.
The room's are great with comfortable beds and everything you need, including full cream UHT milk in the fridge. Rooms even come with a balcony complete with tables and chairs. Really recommend it.

Excellent motel and restaurant — service truly stands out
We went to both the motel and the Indian restaurant. The Indian restaurant was very good. The service was friendly and excellent, the food was good, and the prices were reasonable.
The motel was fine, and the staff were very attentive, which is quite rare in Australia.
