Wonderful room

We really liked the hotel. The room is great, super spacious, beautiful view, comfortable bed and an impressively good acoustic insulation.
The rooftop is a tourist spot of the city, very beautiful, however the bar service there is very weak. Huge queues and time to get the drinks because there are very few employees serving, for the price charged, the minimum that is expected is that since there are no waiters to serve at the table, when we go to the bar to pick up drinks there are enough employees to deliver them.
There are a number of restaurants in the hotel, which makes it much easier. We ate at the Italian restaurant and the food was great. A little slow service (again by few employees).
The pool area is very nice.
The location of the hotel is excellent. You can get to know most of the sights by walking.
We would definitely stay again, but you need to improve the service in the bars and restaurants by hiring more staff.

Always great to!

As always a great stay at the star grand in brissy . From check in to checkout everything was easy, unhurried and great .
Even to hitting up reception to warm a heat bag at 1am and they were great .
Yes I know a heat bag in Brisbane is strange but I’m from
Melbourne and had hurt my back prior to coming .
In room dining was great
All staff were fantastic
Slept great
I wanted to take the bed home but Qantas wouldn’t allow it .
Thankyou to you all can’t wait to come back

Stayed at this hotel in Brisbane for 2 nights. The staff were super friendly, the facilities were great, spotless, and the amenities were top-notch.
Only downside was the soundproofing—you could hear all the hoons tearing down the street outside while trying to sleep, which was a real shame.
There was a Korean guy working there whose name I've forgotten, but he was an absolute legend. He let us check in early, looked after us, and was ridiculously helpful.

Lovely large room overlooking the river with a birds eye view of the ferris wheel. Location close to shops and restaurants. Would stay there again.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Their attention to detail was fantastic. It was my partner's birthday on the day we checked in, and the staff, out of their own, delivered a beautifully decorated dessert and a handwritten birthday card to our room.
