Thankyou Nicole and Sam you are both an absolute pleasure..My room was lovely and clean, the grounds are beautiful and the pool..so close to everything, local golf club and bowls club have wonderful meals,I will be back..thanks again, Deb and Ray..

Neglected, poorly managed filthy

This property is described by the manager as “budget” accommodation, so “You get what you pay for!”
This is what you get: 1. Doors that will not close(including toilet); 2. Mould & built up filth on doors & screens 3. Filthy windows ; 4. Lack of basic kitchen requirements eg. No lighter for gas stove, no sharp knife, no sink plug, used dirty scourer , no wash up cloth ; 5. Kitchen cupboard door hanging off ; 6. Broken shower screen partially replaced with ill- fitting cheap shower curtain 7. Communal laundry left uncleared & lacking plugs again
There was no notice in unit to greet guests and to explain procedures.
Just because you might appeal to budget travellers or backpackers doesn’t mean they will accept neglect, filth and lazy management.
Guests should not have to spend over an hour cleaning to make your “Budget” accommodation liveable.
It is such a pity that this excellent location is not kept in a good liveable order!

So bad

When we arrived at 1:45 pm there was no reception available. There is no phone contact for the motel & I asked someone who was in the yard who phoned the motel and told him room 3, key is in the door. On entering we found wet towels hanging up,the bed looked like someone had slept on it, the rubbish bin under the sink was half full of beer cans and the floor was unvacuumed. There was no one around to complain to. There was no soap or washer.
Further problems were the freezer was iced up & earlier clients had put cardboard (with some custard tart on it)under the rocking fridge. The smoke alarm was hanging by wires and only one of the concertina shower doors was able to be used. The shower exhaust fan was choked with dirt and there was an iron but no ironing board. The only shelf in the cupboard had a rusty black fridge shelf (used for BBQ) on it. Took photos to show my friends and warn them not to stay here.
This motel does not meet 3 star criteria in any way, stay away!!

One star because you can't go any lower!!!

I could live with the smelly,outdated rooms, the rubbish lying around the place and obvious maintenance that needs to be done. But I will not accept SKID MARKS in the toilet.
Room had no air con. So a new room was provided. Obviously my entire family and the groundsman just imagined the filthy toilet as there was no way it was possible.
Reception staff- AMANDA was absolutely rude, condescending and should not be working dealing with the general public. She would rather be smoking outside a room and threatening to call police if you ask for a refund.
Save yourself the hassles.
Cheap it may be. But not worth the headache.

DO NOT STAY HERE !! Management Absolute Disgrace !!! RUDE !!

Disgraceful customer service by management and staff AMANDA was rude and abused me telling me off in front of my 6 year old son and all the other customers. I just said I was wanting a refund as this wasn’t the accomodation I booked online and she said you are not getting a refund and went completely off and rude then she said we are no longer allowed to stay at there motel again all because we said we wanted a refund and was treated Poorly from the moment we walked through the door because she was on holidays and no one is at manding the motel as keys are left in the safe absolut crap !!! Do not stay Here
