Lovely Spot, But Guest Experience Needs Improvement
We managed the lack of air conditioning reasonably well, even during a very hot period. The small fans provided were functional but quite dated and noisy, and we ended up buying a couple of our own. Upgrading the fans would be a simple and worthwhile improvement (only $29 from Bunnings FYI!) It was also surprising that the loft room, which has three bedrooms, did not include an oven (what I would consider a basic appliance) or a washing machine, particularly as these are provided in some of the smaller rooms. The BBQ facilities were quite old and not especially user-friendly which made cooking and food preparation fairly limited.
The biggest area for improvement and the primary reason I’ve taken the time to write this review, was the way the rules were enforced. This sentiment was shared by multiple guests who experienced the front office interactions, and it appears we are not alone in feeling this way looking at other reviews on here and elsewhere. I fully understand that rules are necessary, however the approach taken lacked logic, common sense, and basic emotional intelligence, leaving guests and visitors feeling uncomfortable rather than welcomed. This ultimately left a bad taste and detracted from what was otherwise a pleasant stay in a great location with reasonable accommodation.

Sorry you had issue with noisy desk fans. From our own experience they do create some potentially annoying wind rushing noise when run at high speed and when we use them in our own home we leave them on low to minimise, so perhaps that was an issue? And If not we could have swapped the fan/s out if you had brought this to our attention during your stay.
Re: The ovens and washing machines- Yes some units have them and some don’t. What is offered in each style of unit is featured on our website so if a guest requires any particular appliances and they would rather not use the communal laundry for example then options are there. Our accommodation is priced accordingly and many families appreciate our simpler accommodation options while keeping their costs down.
Re: Our wood fired BBQ’s- Yes they are basic but are still very much loved and enjoyed by many. Our website offers good information about our BBQ’s including our suggestion that guests bring their own portable gas BBQ if that is what they would prefer.
Re: Your disappointment as to how we communicate our policies- We pleasantly request all guests to make themselves aware of our online property information when they make their booking and again as they arrive. We very much encourage questions about anything to help things run smoothly. In your case the only additional contact we had was on the day of your departure, when I initially had a conversation with your wife on the morning of your departure when she arranged to go back in to say goodbye to your friends who were staying on for another night, plus again later with yourself when you departed later than arranged, and I politely informed you of the departure policy in case of any future bookings. If this offended you than my apologies but if nothing is mentioned under such circumstances then we are unsure how else guests would become informed?

IMMACULATE
The beach (which is beautiful) and playgrounds were on our doorstep and a very convenient wood fired bbq right at the front of our patio with plenty of grassed area for the kiddos to play right in eye sight! Although the precinct is safe anyway with lots of lovely families and kids around looking out for each other!
If we were to have to give any kind of feedback we could say we were disappointed that the flying fox was out of commission and the playground equipment was fun but could do with a bit of an update or expansion in options as there are lots of children at the park. But my kids made friends and they had a blast and entertained themselves anyway! Def bring your bikes and scooters!
Located super close to Busselton, Dunsborough and Vasse which offered lots of options for outings and food.
Overall a brilliant experience for us as a family and we cannot wait to return very soon for another getaway!

Peace and quiet by the beach.
supplied at safe distance from villas. *An electric frypan would be useful to cook fish on verandah to keep fishy odours out of Villa. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Nice surroundings
The units were dated but clean and tidy.
Be aware that there is no tea, coffee or milk. I was caught out, but it was really no problem with a servo out front.
