Beautiful Park
One of the highlights was the turtle and fish feeding—it was such a nice experience. There’s also a nearby park with a playground, and a short walk through the rainforest with beautiful scenery, which we really enjoyed.
The only downside was the constant noise from the highway next to the park. There were noisy cars, motorbikes, and even ambulances throughout the day and night, which did disturb the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.
Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back.

Poor Value. Very Very Ordinary Grounds in Poor Condition
Cairns has scores of better value holiday accommodation. You'd be better off parking your caravan outside a hotel or motel.
Broken roads may be a reflection on the overall maintenance of the park, amenities and rooms. See photos.
Recently a caravan burst into flames and was destroyed. See photo.
It's weird ...a plumbing contractor,who lives elsewhere according to staff, uses the Holiday Park as his contracting storage area. His trucks and equipment comes and goes. Note the ramps on his truck- just the sort of thing children break their necks on.
Watch your children closely.
The pool area is great but the spa is on a timer and only lasts a few minutes.

Do not stay here
Just don't stay here - its not worth it, theres no services around and the mosquitos are ridiculous its out in the middle of no where and not in a good way - narrow paths and roads, impossible for bigger rigs/setups, the map makes no sense.
And just to top it off - their contact page doesn't work so this feedback cant be given directly to them. - Happy Travels!

A bit overpriced, but still nice
First the good:
- The park looks nice and green
- The pool area is nice and clean
- Clean bathroom
- No mozzies despite being next to the river
The not-so-good:
- Kitchen isn't kitted out well, there's no utensils at all (pans, plates etc), just the basics (toaster, kettle, gas burner, BBQ), on my first night there wasn't even dish washing liquid
- I put my shoes on my site to let them dry and left, when I came back they were gone, never to be seen again (did ask in the office, they weren't handed in)
- I think it's a bit overpriced for an unpowered site, compared to the other caravan parks I stayed at for way less
