Lovely place to stay.
CityStyle Executive Apartments - BELCONNEN.

We’ve been choosing City Style Apartment for our family stays over the past three years, and it continues to exceed our expectations every time. Located in the lovely suburb of Belconnen, the area strikes a perfect balance between peaceful living and convenience. It’s quiet, well-developed, and incredibly family-friendly. Everything you might need is close by — from a wide range of international cafés and restaurants to major shopping centres and the vibrant Capital Food Market. One of our favourite parts of staying here is the proximity to Lake Ginninderra. Whether it’s a relaxing walk, enjoying the scenic views, or spending time outdoors as a family, it really adds something special to the experience. The surrounding parks also cater beautifully to all age groups, making it ideal for families with children. The apartment itself is perfectly suited for a family stay. With two bedrooms, a laundry, and a fully equipped kitchen, it truly feels like a home away from home. Everything you need for cooking is provided, and the space is always clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. We’ve never encountered any issues — everything simply works as it should. Another big advantage is the excellent public transport system, making it easy to get around Canberra without hassle. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our repeated stays here. Comfortable, convenient, and consistently reliable — we would absolutely rate City Style Apartment a solid 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly place to stay in Canberra.

Don’t expect wifi or mobile connection
Convenient and adequate but don’t expect any wifi or mobile connection.
There’s a router and wifi modem in the room but for some reason they don’t work. Citistyle just said that poor wifi was normal and couldn’t/wouldn’t fix.
Won’t be coming back.

Well appointed and spacious
Designed for long term stays, our 2 bedroom apartment had plenty of storage space. Situated directly opposite Belconnen Olympic Pool and Club Lime, it's essentially in a business district which is tumbleweed territory after 5pm. No shops or restaurants nearby.
We were cold the first night because we closed our bedroom door and the aircon doesn't reach the room. Strangely there was separate aircon in the second bedroom. Electric blankets had been disconnected & unplugged, which seemed strange. Warmer the second night when we left the door open.
Entry is not from the street address, which is all No Stop Zone, but from the back lane. This is not clear from the entry info. No reception, so it's all lockboxes, retrieving keys and swipe cards to enter.
Very good kitchen facilities and quality appliance, and a good TV. Pool looks good, but not tempting in a Canberra winter. Maybe next time.
Only maintenance issue was a broken shower screen knob.

Beautiful apartment but you need a car
Stayed here for a 3 night business trip. The apartment is gorgeous, immaculately clean and well furnished. You'll feel like a spy following the checkin instructions looking for safes and room keys. My room had a neat little balcony which I used when the sun was out and there was a wire clothes dryer which is a nice addition. However this is not a place that has any convenient stores or restaurants after hours (by after hours I mean after work 5pm). Without a car you have to walk a while for food, snacks, or even a can of drink. Belconnen is not a safe place to wander around alone at night so please pre-plan. Ordering food or even arriving by taxi is difficult as the street address is in a zone no-one can stop. Many instructions to food delivery people was still hit and miss - they need to meet you in the carpark which is shared by numerous addresses.
The apartment is lovely but you'd need to be aware to bring your own supplies or face a long walk for anything. No chance I'd stay in winter or if my business trip is more than one night. If this was clear on booking I wouldn't even mention it, but it's not.

weekend away
Well situated, close to Shopping mall, eateries and lake. Very quiet and spacious room. Had to pick up key after hours- easy instructions and pin access. Our unit came with two parking spaces and secure parking. Separate bathroom and toilet.
