Thank you for your review. What I do find disturbing is that you have so few reviews on the platforms you have published this review on - not only TripAdvisor, and all of them are extremely negative. As advertised on all platforms, we do have construction work next door and no they were not working over the weekend that you visited. We clearly advertise our apartment complex as SELF CATERING - meaning you supply what you need yourself. However, we do kindly give every guest a complimentary starter pack, which includes a 1kg container - not a single sachet - of dishwashing granules. Generally, our guests are exceptionally grateful for the amount of dishwashing liquid, washing powder, dishwashing granules, coffee, milk, sugar, tea, toilet rolls, etc. that we supply, but guess you can't please everyone. However trying to supply what each individual guest feels should be supplied would be an impossible task. The apartment that you have been so negative about, is in fact one of our most popular apartments and one that many guests return to numerous times, again trying to make everyone happy is simply not possible and interior design is always subjective. Our reception opened at 9am on the Saturday and after hours check in anywhere except a hotel, will have a safe check in and not a person to person check in. We apologise that you found everything about Boulevard North distasteful and could not find anything to be complimentary about, including our totally awesome location right across the way from the flagged beach.

Cons: next door to construction - apartment 5 on floor 1 is directly next to noisy construction which begins at 630am every weekday heard inside the apartment. The large windows in the main bedroom and the main balcony have a lovely view of the construction instead of the hinterland view (not visible from this level) promised. Privacy is lacking, curtains were required to remain closed and balcony only desirable if you want a view of noisy construction.
The ocean view was obstructed by an extremely dirty window.
The cutlery drawer was not clean.
Only one key is supplied for 4 people when checking in on weekend which is required for garage, building and apartment access.
No dishwashing tablets supplied despite a dishwasher, limited toilet paper, no tissues.
Ensuite bathroom has shower over bathtub which is slippery and may be difficult for some.
No door on this bathroom/toilet so I hope you enjoy your partners bathroom noises.
Excuse made by company was construction was mentioned however it stated it was nearby and did not impact. This is not true of this apartment. It impacts greatly and negatively impacted our stay. We couldn't sleep past 630am, couldn't use balconies or open curtains or windows. Not very relaxing and caused alot of anxiety and stress. Management did not care or offer a solution - false advertisement.
