Our Go To on the GC

We've just finished another incredible three-night stay at the Mondrian Gold Coast, and once again it exceeded every expectation.
We stayed in a top-floor One Bedroom Ocean Suite, and the views were simply spectacular. Waking up each morning overlooking the ocean and watching the sunset from the balcony each evening made it hard to leave the room.
What keeps bringing us back, though, is the complete experience. The hotel has a relaxed luxury feel that's sophisticated without ever feeling pretentious. Every member of the team we interacted with was warm, welcoming and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable.
The rooms are beautifully designed, immaculately presented and incredibly comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The location is also perfect—close enough to enjoy everything Burleigh has to offer while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. Will never stay north of Burleigh again!!
After several stays, the Mondrian has become our go-to destination on the Gold Coast. It's one of those rare hotels that consistently delivers, and that's why we keep returning.
Thank you to the entire team for another fantastic stay. We can't wait to be back again soon.

Lovely rooms and location; consistently bad service

We had a lovely 2-bedroom suite with spectacular views. The hotel is in a great spot and the staff are friendly, but the service is consistently inept, with the worst service coming from the customer service manager / team who asked regularly whether they could help with anything, but did not respond to requests for assistance. The restaurant service at Haven was similarly disorganised. Even the service at the spa was bizarre. I booked a massage with a female therapist. I wasn't told this couldn't be accommodated until a male therapist took me through for the massage and I asked why it wasn't a woman. In fact, every point of service failed to the point where our family has now coined "Mondrian" to mean bad service. It stood in very stark contrast to Halcyon House (where we stayed before) and Calile Hotel (where we stayed after), both at much lower price points. With our eldest child having moved to the Gold Coast recently we had hoped that this would be our place to stay when we visit, but sadly not.

Everything was amazing.
Room was beautiful. Interiors and view.
Staff were casual but attentive and friendly. They spoilt us for our anniversary with balloons chocolate and a bottle of wine. Restaurant was yum.
Unfortunately didn’t have time for the spa and pool but used the very equipped gym.

Beautiful rooms but falls flat in every other aspect

Very disappointed in our stay at Mondrian Gold Coast. At its higher end price point you would expect a lot more. Whilst the rooms are aesthetic and beautiful (we booked an ocean 1 bedroom) everything else about this hotel falls flat. The service and staff are the most disappointing thing and pale in comparison to experiences at other 5 star establishments. Getting housekeeping to service your room was a daily battle and in a 4 night stay our room was serviced once, despite multiple calls to guest services. The set up of a portacot was a circus routine and all the little luxurious and conveniences of a 5 star hotel stay were absent thanks to the headaches of staff interactions. So much potential but unfortunately just not good enough.
