The best hostel in Gold Coast
Very nice hostel, best hostel I have stayed in Gold Coast. Clean, friendly staff, nice large bathroom and shower area. Free breakfast and dinner which is amazing. Clean towels to use and also a large outdoor area with gym and football pitch. I would recommend!

Solo Travel
I had such a wonderful stay at Podstel! The place is clean, cozy, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. The location is great, and everything was well organized, making my trip even more enjoyable.
A special thank you to Mel for being so kind, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. She made me feel at home from the moment I arrived and was always happy to help with anything I needed. Her warmth and hospitality truly made a difference.
I would definitely stay at Podstel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for such a memorable experience

AMAZING
I stayed at Tequila Sunrise Hostel for 21 nights, and honestly it was one of the best hostel experiences I've had.
The location is fantastic, everything you need is within walking distance, and the hostel is always kept really clean. I stayed in a shared room with individual beds that have privacy curtains, which made a big difference and helped me sleep well even in a shared space.
One of my favourite things was the breakfast. It was always fresh, varied and much better than I expected from a hostel. The kitchen is also huge, so cooking was easy even when several people were using it at the same time.
The terrace became my favourite spot. It was perfect whether I wanted to relax with a coffee, work out, or just chat with other travellers. The atmosphere in the hostel is really welcoming and makes it easy to meet people.
A special thank you to Carol, who made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. She introduced me to other guests and always put so much effort into creating a friendly environment with activities like bracelet making and mug painting. Those little touches really made my stay memorable.
I would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Gold Coast.

Top hostel !
Loved my stay at Tequila Sunrise Hostel! The vibe is social and welcoming without ever feeling crowded, and the included breakfast/dinner were a great touch after being on the road. Big shoutout to Carol on staff — her energy and friendliness made me feel included from day one and really helped me settle in fast. Common areas are comfy, the kitchen is well organized, and quiet hours mean you actually get good sleep too. Clean, well located, and full of good vibes. Highly recommend!

Fantastic July
I’ve spent three weeks at this hostel.
It’s such a fun place! I’ve met people from all over the world. Breakfast and dinner are included (and really good).
The staff are always really friendly, and Carol’s enthusiasm for organising activities and bringing everyone together was brilliant!
