Very friendly and warm friendly family reception. Close to the very nice art deco inspired town and near the Tuckerbox

Wonderfully friendly people in a very easy to find location. We arrived on Good Friday and the town was closed so the family owners very kindly shared some of their beautiful meal with us. Quiet stay even though the freeway was quite very close.

Squalor, filthy, disgusting, unhygienic, noisy

I stayed in room 12 and it was absolutely disgusting. The room smelt of urine. There was no hot water in the shower. The taps had an high pitch loud squealing noise and I could other taps screaming throughout the night. The toilet pipes screamed for about 10 minutes every time it flushed. The lights above the bed were not connected. The aircon was a 1980’s box in the wall that rattled all night. The bed had years of dust hanging off it. The carpet was filthy and not fit to walk on it without wearing shoes. The paint was peeling off the walls where there was paint remaining. The window was a plastic cover bolted onto the wall. The fridge was not plugged in as the chord couldn’t reach the wall socket. The instructions on the door to use the chain to lock the door from the inside was very handy given there was no chain. The bed was hard and smelly. The towels and face washer was discoloured. The sewer stench in the bathroom added to the ambience. The only thing that felt clean were the sheets. Other than that the place is a disgusting and squalor like. The photos on the website are very deceiving and have been doctored. My friend’s room was meant to be a superior room and was not much better than mine. Do not stay here. It is filthy.

Don’t stay here

This is the worst place I have considered staying at when I saw the dirt on inside door and smell of the room it was an about turn and demand for my money back driving to Yass which had great new motels at the same price . It’s a shame that the town has this standard of very poor accomodation .

Try Albury for nice Choices.. closer and quieter choices

Keep driving to Albury. Loud Highway noises. not clean. More choices in Albury. Same prices..more diversity. More food & culture options in Albury

Budget hotel - you pay for what you get

This is the budget hotel and the price indicates the facilities and cleanliness level you get.
We drove past this little town, only due to the nearby Tesla supercharge station, Checked in at 11pm, slept then left in the morning. Stayed in a four people room. Everything very basic and dated, especially the bathroom check out the photos yourself.
Aircon is VERY loud. Trucks driving pass right next to the motel also can wake those light sleepers up during the night.
