Outstanding Budget Accommodation
I was attending an event nearby and this was the cheapest and closest room I could find - based on reviews my expectations were low but I couldn’t fault this place even if I tried. I called the day prior to request an early check in and although they couldn’t assure me the room would be cleaned in time they said I could still check in, get my key, and leave my car there. On arrival the receptionist was super friendly and very helpful regarding public transport. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and well equipped the room was and the very cold, decent sized fridge. The room was spotlessly clean, linen was fresh, thick fluffy towels, and it was nice and quiet. Highly recommend

Look at the reviews on Google , they will give you a better idea about this place. Many reviews about being hassled
Rude son of owner made stay very rough when you are there to relax. picture of green pool advertised as clean. Mould on shower, hair ball and old string on the floor. Dirty coffee cups, dead cockroach on entry. Broken glass in front of office. Just wanted to relax while visiting friends and that was not the place to do it. really no stars would suit this place

The room we were given was ok. Very small and basic. There was no blanket on the bed nor in the wardrobe either so we had to lay our coats on the bed to keep warm. The bed was comfortable though and the pillows very good. I had a nice shower but the hot water ran out after thirty seconds on my poor husband. There was very little loud road noise. There are three restaurants right next door which was very convenient. It was ok for one night but we won’t stay there again.

DISHONEST
This is the most dishonest management I have ever come across .I work as a Carer very close When I checked in I gave a 200 cash deposit and 50 on card .I rang reception in the morning and asked if room could be inspected so I could get my bond back and go .While I was waiting the door handle fell off clearly by wear and tear .When the son arrived to check room he looked angry and weak as he mumbled your not getting your bond back because of door handle which he would not look at nor did he raise his hideous head to check the room ...So I approach reception and Dad comes out and from behind locked screen door Tells me no bond back because I had visitors all night .And he was going to call the police .I said call them but they would not .Then Dave the son starts talking tough and threatening me from behind a locked screen door .Don't stay there it's run by criminals

You paid 150$ cash and 50$ on your card for bond. You lost the Bond because you broke the door handle that means you pay for the damage. Sheets had burn holes in them a tray from the fridge was broken, smoking in the room is against Motel terms and conditions.
Low life people coming and going ALL night long, complaints from other Guests, all captured on our security system.
You were aggressive to the staff abusive and KICKING our reception door trying to head butt the door. You left as soon as we called the police. Low life and PARTY people are not welcome at this Motel.

dreadful communication - and I didn't even stay here...
Early 2021 I booked hotel for August via Booking.com - it was booked as 'pay on arrival', however the hotel charged entire booking immediately. I contacted the hotel immediately and first was told it was not their fault booking.com had them listed as pay on arrival and I had to contact them. So I did, as was advised that this was how the hotel had listed themselves and to contact hotel. I rang hotel back and after much negotiation and attempts at placing blame on booking.com, hotel agreed to change booking direct and refund my money. Booking.com reservation was then cancelled (have proof on booking.com account) Fast forward to July and I needed to change dates from August to November... I called hotel direct (and have call log on phone to prove it) and they had no trouble changing, never mentioned booking.com. Thanks to covid my trip was cancelled in mid August and so I again contacted hotel direct, and was told no problem they would cancel... again no mention of booking.com. This weekend was when I was supposed to be staying and suddenly yesterday I was charged full booking amount on credit card. Phoned hotel 6 times - no answer, no answering machine, just phone pick up and hang up. This morning someone from hotel rang from their personal phone, when I explained problem I was told it was booking.com reservation and had never been cancelled so not their problem. I explained the entire history of booking which staff member states she remembers changing, etc. but states 'no one would ever change or cancel because that was illegal'. I again explained that I had in fact spoken with hotel direct to change dates and then again to cancel and booking.com was never mentioned and I was told no problem. Was told it wasn't their problem, so I advised I would contact booking.com. I then got text message again saying not hotel problem, but if I contacted booking.com it was outside the 'allowed' cancellation period. I've again contacted booking.com and as far as they knew booking was for August and it was cancelled in July by hotel. Now I'm left with hotel charge to credit card - which I will be disputing with AMEX, for a hotel I cancelled, and to top it all off, even if my event had gone forward I couldn't travel as my town has been in covid lockdown for past few weeks. CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE - SINGULARLY UNHELPFUL AND ALL ABOUT SHIFTING BLAME WHILE KEEPING MY MONEY THAT SHOULD NEVER HAD BEEN CHARGED.
