Spacious apartment, friendly staff, value for money
We were provided a free upgrade to Flagstaff Apartments (Batman Street) which is 5 mins walk from 392 Spencer Apartments.
The Apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable.
The staff was very helpful, we were provided with early check-in and after check-out our bags were stored for us for a couple of hours as well.
Apartment had all amenities and facilities as mentioned.
Location - 10 mins walk from Southern Cross station, 5 mins walk from 3 different tram stations, 7 mins walk from Queen Victoria Market.
Was perfect for 3 adults, 1 teen and 1 five year old.
The Apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable.
The staff was very helpful, we were provided with early check-in and after check-out our bags were stored for us for a couple of hours as well.
Apartment had all amenities and facilities as mentioned.

Greed driven hotel booked and they cancel when you don't pay triple the price.
We booked a room in January 26 for March 26. They called is asking for triple the Mount AFTER the booking was paid in full. They said if we didn't pay they would cancel the room. March 26 is now expensive due to Grand Prix after booking our staff the is NO LOYALTY and our company is completely disgusted with no duty or care. They blamed the receptionist for her mistake and expected us to pay for it! Absolute disgrace no idea how they think this is legal. We will be reporting them to ASiC and corporate headquarters. Shameful no care in the world for their customers GREED driven absolutely shocking.

DO NOT STAY HERE. ABSOLUTELY HEARTLESS
Do not stay at this accommodation. My family booked this place under extremely difficult circumstances — my father was admitted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with multiple severe injuries after a tragic car accident that also claimed my mother’s life. Due to the expected long recovery and rehabilitation period, we extended our booking to cover three weeks and paid $8,500 upfront.
Tragically, my father passed away a week later. I reached out multiple times requesting a partial refund for the unused portion of our stay. Not only was there no flexibility or compassion shown, but I never even received a reply. Not a single acknowledgment.
In the midst of unimaginable grief and trauma, this lack of basic decency and communication was devastating. It’s appalling that a business can operate with such disregard for human compassion. To make matters worse, they rebooked the accommodation to someone else during the period we had already paid for, effectively getting paid twice.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If you value integrity, empathy, or even just basic customer service — look elsewhere.

Me and a couple of friends went over to Melbourne for the long weekend and booked this apartment however. We were given 2 keys with 1 key not working, we then asked what happened if one of us comes back after hours and has the key that’s not working and the receptionist said to call him and he will come down as he lives not far from the apartment. We asked what happens if it’s early hours of the morning and he doesn’t answer and we could not get an answer. When this was raised to the booking company they told them they gave us 4 sets of keys which was a lie.
We then asked about the on site pool which was advertised and we were told we do not have access only luxury apartments have access to this, when I questioned this they said ok we can have access however it is across the road in another building. Turns out they email you after you pay telling you this but before you book it is advertised as on site.
Then the state of the room was horrible. The TV was broken and did not work, all the window handles were all broken meaning you could not open them and if you somehow did you wouldn’t be able to close them. The actual seal underneath the window was also cracked which is a clear concern regarding. When all this was brought up to reception the guy there said ok he will come fix them. I explained this isn’t something you should come up and fix this should be repaired properly as the actual walls and windows were not safe. He persisted and said he will come fix them and we told him they should be fixed properly.
From there we kindly explained all the problems and asked to leave however they refused to bargain whatsoever. They explained they have offered to fix the problems, however if we knew these things prior we would not have booked here.
I reached out to the booking company and they agreed with me and actually reached out to the apartment themselves however they also refused to bargain with them. This all happened on Friday the 6th of June and to this day I am still waiting for a Manager to call me back. On Friday I was told they would be in the next day, then Saturday was told they would be in Sunday, then Sunday I was told they would be in on Monday, I still have not heard from them except from an email.
I have spoken to Consumer Affairs Victoria and they have sent me some resources to email them over clearly showing what laws they have breached which is currently being drafted and sent to them. I let the apartments know and the only correspondence I got back from the Manager says “let’s see what they say”.
This is not the way to run an apartment with people coming in and out, despite the fact we left after an hour of being there with genuine concerns they are refusing to even understand our concerns and have just taken the money, we even asked for just 50% so we can go somewhere else and they have refused.
This has already been escalated to my lawyer and if they continue to refuse to bargain after Consumer Affairs’ letter this will be dealt with through them.
Do not book to stay here at all, horrible service, no regard for any concerns and they only want your money. See attached photos.

Verify central, comfortable and safe apartments with excellent service!
Everything you need in a very confortable and neat apartment. Safe parking and apartment only reachable with a code. Had a problem with the sink which was immediately solved so very good service. Only 2 things missing: something to hang the jackets when coming and an oven dish!
