Great stay at the Victoria

Great location to walk around Bathurst and easy parking.
The atmosphere of the pub was friendly and had a great vibe.
The room was excellent, great value for money and very clean.
Friendly staff.
Shared bathrooms were very clean.

Relaxed pleasant stay, efficiently run, staff very well trained , good restaurant, great cleanliness overall,

This was my 5th time staying at the Victoria Bathurst. The stay was ~ as always ~ relaxing and very agreeable . The cleanliness of room, bathrooms, toilets was exceptional.. The receptionist~ on my arrival~ remembered she had made my booking , and had allocated me a room close to bathroom facilities. The room , though small, provided all facilities!~TV, air con, a chair , and most important for me~ a luggage rack ( I object very strongly to those places this do not include this facility.~ quality of linen, towels etc excellent. The placing of a small mirror in the room would represent a further pleasant facility!.I like how the tea and coffee making facilities are positioned, and easy to use, efficient bedside lamp.
Eating in the restaurant has always been a priority for me~ a good atmosphere and vibe, and very pleasant , and quick, waitstaff. Even eating as a single person one feels comfortable.
The hotel’s hotel’s proximity to the railway station is also very significant for me as a train enthusiast ~ while slow the train trip on the Bathurst Bullet is relaxed, picturesque, and a steal at $2—50 !
Equally access { with great coffee /cafe facility next door) up Kellet St to the CBD , via other cafes, the Art Gallery etc is excellent.
In summary the hotel seems to run extremely efficiently, has a very quirky vibe with efficient welcoming staff.
I shall continue to return to Bathurst if for no other reason than to stay at the Victoria.
I particularly liked being able to ring , being able to speak, to an efficient reception ist, and make an easy quick booking.

friendly & fun vibe and very clean

I was very impressed right from the warm welcome. my single room was neat & tidy and the shared toilets/bathrooms were completely spotless and although there were many others around I never had to wait to use the facilities. it's modern and tastefully quirky in a cool, homely and colourful way

Excellent Hotel

Stayed here for Bathurst Supercars weekend for the 3rd time. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Shared toilets and bathrooms are exceptionally clean at every use. Hotel service is excellent. Great value meals from children to seniors. Owner and his staff should be congratulated on their welcoming and friendly service.

Great service, lots of character!

Friendly check in and Mel had turned on the heating in our room so it would not be cold on arrival. Lovely big room (Room 8) with high ceilings and nice windows to the street that we could open! And a cute little ensuite bathroom.
The kitchen staff were helpful and kind, the sort of place where the staff says yes before they say no - very helpful and accommodating.
Highly recommended.
