Absolutely fabulous!!

We have stayed in hotels and apartments across the world, but it would be hard to find anything better than the Noosa beach resort which was absolutely outstanding. Ours was a superior apartment and it lived up to its name. There was a large lounge area with a couch, easy chair, big screen TV and DVD player, a table for working or eating and a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, hob and plenty to cutlery and crockery. Outside was a ground floor balcony with a table and chairs which was on the edge of a medium sized swimming pool shared with only about 8 other apartments. Upstairs were two bedrooms of a good size. One had a double bed and the other two singles there was plenty of wardrobe space for clothes. The bathroom was completely modern with a shower wash basin and toilet and in addition a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There was also an ironing board and an iron and fabulously fast Wi-Fi. To make the place even better there was a warm welcome from reception and because they were not busy, we were allowed a late checkout which was very helpful. There was a marked car parking space under shade. The property is a minute away from the Noosa river and a great little coffee shop and several restaurants. We took the 15 minute ferry into Noosa Heads main beach – and I recommend it, because if you drive it will take 8 minutes to get there and 20 minutes to find a car parking space!

Highly recommend. Great location and facilities. Great for kids. Lots of great restaurants close by and only 3 kms from Hastings Street!

Lovely stay close to all you need

We had a really enjoyable stay at Noosa Place Resort last week! It was the perfect location and apartment for our family with 2 kids, 11 and 14. The apartment was spacious, had everything we needed including a full kitchen and a washing machine. It was very modern and very comfortable. The resort has 3 heated pools and 2 spas onsite which were never busy and great fun to be able to swim in the middle of winter. There was also a tennis court/basketball court onsite which was also fun, equipment could be updated but you could also BYO. Mangement were acommodating and lovely, no complaints from us at all.
The resort is conveniently located at one end of Gympie Terrace in Noosaville with loads of restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk. There are supermarkets and other shops also available within a 10min walk. Bus stops are right on your doorstep allowing an easy ride into Noosa township and beach or many other suburbs and beaches.
We would definitely stay here again! :)

Didn't live up to expectations

Some respects of the chosen accommodation didnt meet our expectations. We chose the apartment carefully as we were looking for somewhere with a pleasant outside space and nice views. We booked the Premium Balcony Apartment which promised 'Step onto your private patio or balcony and be captivated by the scenic vista that unfold before you.' Unfortunately that vista was a view of the main road and cars parked in front of the apartment. If we looked really closely we could catch a glimpse of water in the distance.
The apartment (25) was very dimly lit and impossible to sit and read without sitting under a lamp. The headrest on the sofa in front of the tv was broken and uncomfortable to sit on for long periods. It looked like it was originally electrically operated however had no connection to electricity and could not be adjusted.
The good points - we appreciated the closeness of the resort to the local bars and restaurants which made it easy to walk out for a meal and a drink during the day and evening and we felt the bed was comfortable and slept well.

Room was very clean, all utensils, kitchen appliances were great. The location was fantastic, everything was close. Nice and quiet place to stay. The only thing I was little disappointed, water quality of the spa pool. It was green and milky.
