Basic but comfy

Absolutely terrible. Do not stay here!
We booked four nights here, but this place was so bad that we checked out after two nights (we have stayed in many hotels/motels/etc around the world and this is the only one we have ever left early).
It advertises for tourists, but it is almost completely full of workers. It’s basically a backpacker accommodation for local itinerant workers. The reception is permanently closed (which they don’t advertise and only let you know by email the day before you arrive) and there are no facilities.
These are motel rooms and most rooms have shared walls on both sides. Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything (and I mean everything) from the neighbouring rooms. The TVs are mounted on the adjoining walls, so you can hear the sound perfectly through the walls.
The guest in our neighbouring room had friends staying and they were watching TV at night. We asked them to turn it down after 9.30pm and they ignored us. We called the after hours number and a staff member turned up. He also asked them to turn it down and the guest response was “No, we will not be intimidated.” (We heard the entire conversation through the walls). The staff member left and the noise continued.
The next day, we decided we couldn’t stay any longer and asked for a refund for the two nights we had left. This was declined by the management, as they advised us that they had dealt with the complaint. Even though, there is literally nothing they can do, as the walls have no sound insulation.
The only thing in its favour is that the rooms are clean.

Definitely worth a visit

The beds were comfortable enough and although basic things worked well. Bathroom smelled funky but seemed clean enough.
