City break with amazing Lounge 32 experience
Well positioned property, clearly benefiting from its prime location. Rooms are lovely and supremely comfortable - I stayed in a Deluxe room for 3 nights with additional club access.
House keeping was great - always had a spotless room with extra turndown service, and ice buckets left for the juice I’d left out! Plenty of in room amenities.
Lounge 32 was outstanding - nothing was too much bother for the staff. They remembered my name and room after my first arrival, and preferred seat. They asked why I was staying, and tailored offers of coffee etc around my schedule. They were even happy to give me an extra coffee to go (something I haven’t experienced in any other club lounge where they’re usually fairly militant at insisting everything is eaten/drunk in the lounge).
Also utilised the (now closed) Endota spa on site - this was exactly as you’d expect for an Endota, although quite cramped and entry shared with the gym facilities, so while waiting for my treatment I was joined by various interesting characters. The Endota at the rocks is still available, and is a much more relaxing time.
The only issue I had was at checkout when it transpired that when staff had processed an alteration to my booking (adding on a service) this resulted in my nightly room rate being increased. This was handled by the duty manager and refunded, however this seems like a system based error that needs to be addressed so others aren’t affected.

Love on The Rocks - Four Seasons, Sydney
Prior to my arrival, I’d sent an email to the hotel asking for an early check-in. My flight landed at 8:30am so after I collected my bags and headed for an Uber, the drive from the airport was about an hour. I didn’t expect to have my room available that early, so imagine my surprise (and delight) when they were able to accommodate me! And not just that, but the notes of my request were in my reservation so I didn’t even have to ask about it. The reception team welcomed me with open arms and honored my ask.
It gave me the opportunity to shower and put on fresh clothes before heading out to meet my colleagues and welcome them to the Four Seasons and then head out into town to explore. The Rocks, the Opera House, the Botanical Gardens and even the shopping district are all within easy walking distance.
My room was absolutely delightful and I felt wrapped in luxury even though it was a standard room! It was so spacious! I particularly loved the window seat where I could sit and people watch from above. The mini bar had plenty of options and the coffee machine was ready for the morning. I chose room service for the following morning and it was excellent - the food good, the coffee delicious!
After exploring, I took advantage of the tub, wrapped myself in their cuddly robe and slippers and collapsed across the bed for a nap. Funny story about the bed. When I arrived, I sat on the edge of the bed to read something on my phone. It was soft and gave way like I would expect to find in a much cheaper hotel where previous guests (over time) would have left indentations from there weight. I thought, “hmmm … I’m surprised that the Four Seasons would have a mattress like this” … until the moment when I stretched across the bed in the afternoon! OH. MY. GOODNESS. The whole bed wrapped around me like a hug! The fluffy duvet, the soft, pristine sheets, the mattress, I felt like a Queen.
I look forward to returning with my husband.

Unforgettable Stay at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney
I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney from July 5th to July 10th, 2026, and it was, without question, one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. From check-in to check-out, every single staff member was excellent, but there are a few standouts who truly made this trip special.
Jonathan deserves the highest praise. He greeted me the moment I arrived, personally walked me to my room, and throughout my entire stay he made sure I had everything I could possibly need. On my final night, I came back to the hotel after a flight of scotch tastings at the hotel's Grain Bar, only to find that Jonathan had left a beautiful bakery feast waiting in my room, along with a handwritten card saying he hoped my visit had been pleasant. That kind of thoughtful, genuine hospitality is rare, and it's the sort of gesture that turns a good stay into an unforgettable one.
The Grain Bar itself was a highlight of the trip. The Canadian bartender there was top-notch — knowledgeable, personable, and clearly passionate about the craft, guiding me through a wonderful scotch tasting flight that I won't forget anytime soon.
Honestly, everyone at the hotel treated me like a rock star during my stay (and with my long hair, I can only imagine what they made of me at first). But that warmth never wavered — it was consistent, genuine, and felt personal rather than performative.
The final touch came when it was time to leave: the driver arranged for me to depart in a Maybach, which was an incredible and completely unexpected send-off after an already exceptional week.
Four Seasons Hotel Sydney doesn't just deliver luxury — it delivers genuine care, and that's what sets it apart. Between Jonathan's outstanding attention to detail, the exceptional bar team, and a level of service that made me feel truly valued as a guest, this stay exceeded every expectation. I'll be back, and I'll be requesting Jonathan every time. Thank you for such a memorable trip!
