Excellent hosts for our wedding

My family stayed here for a wedding. Although the wedding itself was not at the Palm as we wanted a lake side location, they would not have been more accommodating to us. Went above and beyond helping us with our special day before and after. Nothing was too much trouble. So accommodating beyond our highest hopes. Went above and beyond.
We used the African Queen as transport to the wedding and that was stunning. Thank you Palm for helping us with our special day and all it's moving parts.

No value for money

I dined at the Thai restaurant and really appreciated the lovely gardens and ambience. However, I found the food overpriced for the portion and quality served. I was informed that my order came with rice, only to later be charged extra for it, which was disappointing. Additionally, the dish contained more pineapples and onions than chicken, despite ordering for sweet and sour chicken. Overall, I did not feel I received value for money. Kindly work on improving both the service clarity and portion balance.

I can recommend this Family run Hotel.

We were in Entebbe for our daughter's wedding. 13 of us stayed at the Palm Hotel for two weeks. It is in a good quiet leafy area, no traffic noise and the hotel itself in beautiful grounds. The only noise was from the church on the Sunday. We had our own transport and the hotel has a good carpark. Was about a 30 minute walk to the Shopping Mall and Tourist market. The pool is not over large but big enough to swim and with sunbeds and shade. Clean toilets by the pool.
The staff could not do enough for us. Anything we asked for they got for us. We had two young children whom the staff loved and would put children's programs on the tv for them if we asked. The day before the wedding we more or less took over the Bar and Restaurant area preparing things for the wedding and some of the staff got involved. Plus we had a family welcoming party there that evening which they accommodated. They even decorated the Bride and Grooms room the day of the wedding. We felt we made friends with the staff.
There is a Spa centre at the hotel and a massage is a must! I had two.

A fabulous example of wonderful Ugandan hospitality

I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough … it is amazing value for money. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a fabulous experience. They arranged an airport pickup and let us check in at 4am and on our return from safari provided us with a room for the afternoon and evening. There are a range of rooms but ours was lovely and clean with a fridge and kettle. The mosquito nets were immaculate . The plunge pool was perfect for both a much appreciated dip but also suitable to relax for the day. Breakfast offered an excellent range of options and the restaurant food was exceptional. The massage was amazing and totally professional. They were able to offer a driver who was inexpensive, so honest and knowledgeable taking us to a wonderful local restaurant and accommodating our requirements on many occasions. Thank you everyone at Entebbe Palm for a wonderful stay. You are truly wonderful ambassadors for Ugandan hospitality
