A unique hotel ( Vegas meets Chornomorsk) with great service - recommended
Originally, we were due to depart at 21:00 from Chornomorsk (south west of Odessa) as foot passengers on the freight ferry to Istanbul but the departure was delayed. Having stayed the previous night in Odessa itself, we decided to find a room to stay closer to the port as departure times were likely to move. A last minute booking on line found us at Chornomorsk and a 45 min journey by bus from the central bus station in Odessa. We grabbed a taxi (with the help and translation services of a very helpful pharmacist) to the hotel.
What an extraordinary place. We were greeted by our very friendly and helpful host who showed us to our room, through a very imaginatively Italianate inspired designed building. We were not surprised to learn the name of the owner was ‘Roman’. The hosts were extremely helpful in recommending somewhere close by to eat (we needed an early night) as well as assisting us with booking a taxi to the port for 04:00 that morning. This was not as easy as it might seem – our point of departure was from a freight terminal. Throughout, we were treated with utmost courtesy and care and genuinely have nothing but praise for our experience here (this in spite of a power cut shortly after we arrived - not uncommon in the area, and the hotel generator was pressed into action so no issues anyway)
The decor in the spacious bedroom was quirky and we had a comfortable (if short) sleep due to our early departure, which also meant we were unable to sample the breakfast.
We arrived in the evening and didn't sample Chornomorsk so cannot comment on proximi

Stunning hotel (let down by staffs attitude )
We was so pleased to stumble on this stunning hotel we entered our room and was elated wow ! Sadly it went down hill from there ,next morning we had breakfast baby wanted pancakes was told none available (even tho they was on the menu)fair enough , was served croissant dry no jam or butter and a fork to eat it (really !!) I asked for butter and jam ,they obliged
So had nice day at beach came home and we tried their restaurant, stunning food however starter and main serves together so my main was cold by time I ate my starter ,(not good ) so up to now ok ish ,few hiccups , next morning again no pancakes dry croissant asked for jam they obliged ,great day at beach came home to be pulled to reception and told we Had to pay for teaspoon of jam we had at breakfast !! (Really !!) now I'm alienated we decided not to eat in their restaurant,(their loss )so went out came home to find we had no bedding !! Eventually was given a quilt cover and told to make our own bed !!
So next morning breakfast again baby wanted pancakes on their menu again no pancakes so I was anoid.i complained to manager who said they couldn't do pancakes !! There is a supermarket across the road !! Really !! Eggs flour milk !!
These people want the huge amount of monies to stay in this hotel yet lack the service !! Was most disappointed ! Once they had your monies they don't care if you enjoy your stay with them !!

60th visit
Been coming here for over 8 years. Always treated nicely. Have had over 6 banquets dinners here the food is always good and the service is always great. The hotel is a fairly new addition to the resturant and the rooms are very comfortable. I come here for breakfast at least 4 times a week while in the Ukraine and it is always delicious. I highly recommmed this resturant and hotel. I now know the owner and his wife personally and they treat all tjeir customers like members of the family. You will always find one of them here. Remember when visiting you are not in the USA you are in a foreign country. They have menus in English if you need one. ON THE WEEKENDS in the evening you will have live entertainment. Stop by and enjoy, say hello to Roman, the owner. He will be happy to make your acquaintance.

Останавливались на несколько дней в мае 2016 остались довольны всем. Интерьер производит впечатление, номера отличные, с удовольствием вечерами сидели в фойе с друзьями, завтраки хорошие, свежие, ужины отличные. Был один момент с администратором, но его урегулировали. Рекомендую
