Awful service in SPA
A wonderful girl at the reception. That’s where the service ended.
There was not a single staff member in the spa itself — neither at the bar nor anywhere else — during three hours I didn’t see anyone; they only suggest scanning a QR code for contact.
Half of the buttons by the pool for the jacuzzi and other water procedures do not work; you can break your fingers. Even a male hotel employee who happened to pass by tried to help, but failed.
The floors in the saunas are almost always covered with water. They claim there are drains, but they practically do not work. Fine, the water inside is not wiped, but why not at least wipe the entrance areas to the saunas.
As a result, I fell, my elbow is swollen, my palm is swollen, and three fingers on my hand hurt. By the time I waited for a staff member, it felt like eternity. She did not react at all. No sympathy or involvement. I asked for ice myself. The ice was brought to me in a glass. When I asked how I was supposed to apply it, they barely managed to bring me a towel.
I asked why the floors in the saunas or at least the entrances are not wiped. I was told that no one falls! But if someone does fall, they offer proper rubber slippers for a fee instead of disposable fabric trash. I asked why I was not offered proper slippers from the beginning, even for a fee. Silence. And she immediately ran away. Just ran away. No one approached me afterward while I stood there dealing with the ice.
No care, no help, not even offering water or tea, or simply asking how I feel. I’m not even talking about customer service. About basic human treatment! What is the money paid for? For bubbles in the water, a shower, hay, and steam? Where is the service? This grand hotel is as “grand” as some dive at a train station. I would like to think there is at least a basic medical worker in the hotel. At least to be directed there. Nothing. No involvement. Probably there is no doctor there either.
Should I even mention the basics? There is no water for guests at the reception, one hairdryer works while the other does not, and you have to keep holding the button for it to work, the lights are flickering…
In short, I am very disappointed. The service is terrible. No humanity. No help.
And the cherry on top was an email saying — your spa has been canceled. Both mine and my mother’s. When we had already returned home. By whom?? This is just absurd, what a nightmare!
I will never come here again and will not recommend it to anyone.

A Grand Stay at the Grand Hotel Lviv
What made the stay truly excellent was the great efforts of the team at the Grand Hotel. I want to specially praise Yana, the administrator at the front desk, who not only accommodated my change in plans, but also helped me make alternative transport arrangements when my return travel to Poland fell through.
The bar staff is also excellent. Maksym, Vlad, and one other bartender whose name I unfortunately can't remember -- all of them provided truly stellar service throughout my stay. (The lobby bar also has an excellent selection of liquors.)
The level of service offered by the Grand Hotel Lviv is of the highest caliber, and I would gladly return here again.
