Our little cocoon in Samarkand

Ideally located, the B&B Jahongir won us over with the kindness of the welcome; we felt like family. A very pleasant patio to rest during the hot weather, rooms where you really have everything you need: fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, bottles of water, air conditioning... Everything is clean and pleasant. Major asset: the B&B is located in a quiet alley, which itself leads to a busy street that leads... straight to Islam Karimov Park and the Registan! We therefore have access to the major sites in a few minutes on foot, while staying in a quiet area, which is precious. All at competitive prices.

PERFECT!

We stayed at the jahongir in the Guesthouse part for 6 nights and had a great time.
Apart from the beautiful place, typical Uzbek house with a green garden and a terrace with beautiful floor cushions to relax.
Huge quadruple room with typical decor and private bathroom, delicious sweet and savory breakfast (omelets, sausages, croissants, pastries, milk coffee and juices).
THANK YOU to Bek for his availability: he offered us the transfer from the airport and arranged us Bukhara and Urgut.
They were traveling with two children so SAFETY FIRST.

Charming little guesthouse

We went there as a group, and our experience was mixed.
We liked the warm Welcoming, the typical old Uzbek house, the gardens with places where you can have lunch or just have a drink quietly! the people in our group who occupied rooms upstairs were satisfied. Two friends who were staying on the ground floor did not like their small, dark room, and whose condition did not correspond at all to the photos published on the site. We must therefore ask for the rooms located upstairs which are more comfortable and apparently renovated!

Very friendly guesthouse near Registan with excellent breakfast

Jahongir Pension is located in a quiet side street within walking distance of Registan. Friends had recommended us the accommodation. We had booked two single rooms. The rooms are located around two beautiful courtyards. The hostel is lovingly decorated in Uzbekistan. Our rooms had - unnecessary - televisions, air conditioning, small bathrooms with shower and toilet and decent beds.
The staff is friendly and shy, the breakfast rich and varied.
The operator apparently has connections to Germany. Virtually all guests were German.
The guesthouse organises excursions to the surrounding area, but it is cheaper to be driven by Yandex, the Uzbek Uber.

Best B&B in Samarkand

We stayed a night in this beautiful BB while visiting Samarkand.
The inside courtyard is with a very peaceful and wonderful garden. The room was also very nice.
The BB is also few steps away from the Registan square.
But what the BB excels is in the services!
Not only did they arranged us transport around the city but also a tour with a guide.
Not only, we had a problem with train tickets (we had booked the wrong one) they accompanied us to the station and helped us to get a new one.
Top service.
Top hotel manager!
The kindest people we ever met in hotel business.
If you plan to visit Samarkand this is the place to stay.
Highly recommended!
