A unique hotel with excellent staff
Hello there! I want to write a very praiseworthy (but sincere and incorruptible) review of the Silk Road Empire Hotel. Many letters, but all the excitement in a few sentences can't fit.
Just as theatre starts with a wardrobe, so the hotel starts with a porch. Before we could get out of the car, our suitcases had already been picked up and carried upstairs to the reception. And with a smile and no showy zeal. At the reception there was a compliment from the hotel in the form of juices, fruits and sweets and, most importantly, the endless welcome and positive attitude of manager Muhamad, who first led the tour. It's not just a boutique hotel, it's a beautifully decorated museum hotel. All common spaces in carpets and paintings, on 1/4 floor the richest exposition of the historical life of Uzbeks.
Now the main thing: rooms are large, furniture is new, bed is widest, mattresses with variable stiffness, choice of pillows. Great underwear. A window without gorgeous views, but that didn't spoil the experience in the least. The soundproofing in the room is fine, so the dream was wonderful! The bathroom has new appliances, a complete and replenishable set of consumables, perfect cleanliness everywhere.
By the way, each room with its own decoration and its own legend, about which Muhamad speaks with a striking sense of humor. I'll stop for breakfast separately. I'd compare it to a Turkish A*. Many different vegetables, fruits (selected), sausages, cheeses, snacks, 3 types of pancakes, porridge, 6 types of eggs, battery of different yogurts, any coffee, many desserts, etc. By the way, the hotel has a restaurant with a terrace and comfortable upholstered furniture for guests 24/7. The dishes are cooked somewhere else, but it's not too much pressure.
Subtotal: customer orientation - 10/10, friendliest staff I've ever met; interior 10/10, you want to wander around the hotel corridors and photograph highlights, clean 10/10, room equipment 10/10, kitchen 10/10.
Definitely recommended!!
P.S. is another pleasant "little thing": toothbrushes in rooms with different colors of bristles. You can't mix it up in the morning! :)

One of the best!
My partner and I have travel to over 40 countries combined, this is one of the best hotels we have ever experienced. We stayed for 4 nights and 5 days.
Staff were incredibly kind and generous, and it was their attention to little details that really made our experience that much more amazing. For example, they would remember details of excursions we had planned on any given day, and would ask about that specific experience when we returned. They would consistently check-in on us to see if we had everything we needed. And even if we would ask for things like coffee in the late afternoon, this would be given complimentary. I can give many great examples.
All of the main sights in Samarkand are walkable from the hotel. The rooms were very nice. And hotel breakfast was great!
On top of everything, I had accidentally forgotten my headphones at the hotel, and the staff went above and beyond to organize having them delivered back to me in Tashkent.
I cannot say enough positive things about the team here.
We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends who visit Samarkand. And we will definitely be coming here again if we return again to visit.

This was perfect experience to stay in Silk Road empire hotel! Perfect room, kind employees, nice breakfast and the aircondition in the room was not enough for our room.

Maximum attention to guests
Just a wonderful hotel. We arrived early in the morning after the night flight, we were complimented with breakfast while we waited to check in. Breakfast buffet, there are all you need for eggs, porridge, cheeses, meat, sausages, pancakes, waffles, very delicious coffee from the coffee machine, fruit. All the staff are very friendly, involved, burning up. They tell you where to go, what to see, you can change money at a good rate. The hotel itself is new, modern, beautiful furniture, upholstered carpets, quality pillows and mattress, all very authentic but also modern. In the corridors are exhibits, very interesting to see. On the 3rd floor there is a terrace on the street with very comfortable armchairs, you can have breakfast, order dinner there or smoke a hookah. Free bottles of water are available at the reception, convenient to take on excursions. It's about a 25-minute walk to the center, we'd walk, and then we'd take a Yandex taxi back in the evening. Also as a compliment to our birthday we were upgraded to a room category, brought a glass of wine and fruit. On the last day of departure was also early, we were arranged an early breakfast and transfer to the train station. Attention to guests is high! I highly recommend this hotel for accommodation, you will definitely be satisfied. And the hotel wishes prosperity, many guests and not to lose such a high level of service, thank you!

Dust in the eyes!
First impression Wow!
Let me tell you, we were at the hotel on an organized group tour, so we didn't have to choose!
The hotel occupies the 2nd and 3rd floors. From the bus, your suitcases are picked up by the staff, the hotel manager holds a mini-presentation of the hotel with a tour, hands out rooms with a joke-increase, suitcases are delivered to your room, the TV has channels on smart TV, bottled water around the clock at reception, delicious breakfasts (don't take shakshuka and omelets, which are made to order - don't know how to prepare them absolutely).
Now the Buts begin!
If you're talking about small moments: water squirting from the shower to a puddle on the floor; a broken handle; a non-burning lamp that hotel staff can't fix. And a large one for me personally: a room without a window (or rather it has one, but opens into the hallway); a very rich smell of "stinks" for the interior; dinner at the hotel with food delivery from a nearby restaurant, which is heated in a candle (some dishes do not imply extra heating).
