Nasama Resort

The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention to the amazing teams at Cafe Vila and Three Pigs — their service was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were so friendly, attentive and accommodating. They really went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Nasama Resort and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Vanuatu. We will definitely be returning! Love Daniel and Gloria

Average resort for what you pay. Good location.
We also found booking things through reception to be much more expensive than booking things ourselves with locals. Overall was pleasant and relaxing but would not come back again.

Our Stay At Nasama Resort

We stayed in The Nasama Resort . It is a short $2 mini bus ride into The Main CBD of Port Villa . The Nasama was slightly disappointing , only minor things like no pool bar or service. The walk between the Bar/ Restaurant is on a rocky uneven track about 80 meters . If raining which it did often we would get wet walking up, maybe a hotel umbrella would be nice. Staff were all lovely and polite especially Sarah in the restuarant who was so good . There is a beach though all areas are covered in coral, the views are wonderful though. Rooms were very large and adequate. Probably rooms need a bit of a renovation . We liked our stay though would probably stay elsewhere next time .

We also appreciate your constructive feedback regarding the absence of a pool bar and the challenges during rainy weather. Your suggestion about umbrellas is very helpful. While we do provide umbrellas in every apartment, they are often not returned, and we will look at ways to improve this for our guests’ convenience.
We acknowledge your comments about room renovations and are pleased to share that we have plans to carry these out during the low season, when we can access the rooms without disrupting guest stays.

Not our cup of tea
Nasama is not a bad place at all , it has great potential but really does feel very old and run down . It’s definitely not at a 4 star level .Not a great impression when you first arrive , it felt more like a camp site . The reception is tiny and not at all welcoming Staff were pleasant . Our room was a very large studio looking right into the water’s edge , it was old though, felt very nineties , just so dated Our cleaning lady was lovely and we made a point of tipping her directly . The pool area just needs a lot of repair and new pool furniture and the really do lack a pool bar . There is an odd “lawned area “ which could be beautiful tropical gardens but it just feels unloved, The food was ok , most staff nice but a couple not so smiley ones . Didn’t enjoy 3 pigs , just fried pub type food . The whole vibe was just very under whelming and it felt very run down . The road outside is pretty bad with tons of pot holes . It’s not a place we would return to
