Amazing experience at Posada La Mar

The best location of the island just 40min flight from Caracas , they can pick you up as well. Caribbean Sea is amazing very clean .The hotel is located just in front of the sea with beautiful white sands. The rooms are extremely clean and smell amazing. The stuff very friendly and helpful. Amazing food I strongly recommend fish and all kinds of seafood dishes. The family that runs the place always smiling and always present with whatever you need . Definitely worth your trip . We'd better have stayed in an Airbnb

The inn is according to its category, the rooms comfortable and clean. An advantage to be facing the sea with direct access to the beach. However, we went in the off-season, only stayed one night and had virtually no attention. The bar and restaurant were closed at all times. For the check out we had to leave the key in the room because there was no one to receive it, the inn was completely alone despite being 8am

Relaxing, safe and enjoyable get away

We are a family of three with a 16-year old son. We came for the Holy Week/Spring break for seven days. Our son wanted to learn to kite-surf, and El Yaque beach is one of the renowned beaches to go. Checking online, Posada La Mar provides affordable accommodation with breakfast. The room is very clean. It comes with fresh towels every day. The shower room has fresh soap (no shampoo, bring your own) and warm water. Though this is a small posada with probably less than 20 rooms, it has a hair dryer, Direct Cable TV, safe, good airconditioning. Beside La Mar are other posadas and restaurants. It can be very crowded at the beach, but your accommodation comes with an umbrella and reclining chairs. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is not noisy at night because of the wind direction. Parties every night from the neighbor hotel (El Yaque Hotel). There are several restaurants and groceries adjacent to the posada. It is pretty safe and secure.

A perfect place to relax

In this posada, we were treated as a VIP guest. Location was perfect, just in front of the beach. The room was very spacious and clean. The rate includes breakfast, which is huge (arepas, beef/fish, beans and cheese or the classic eggs, toast and pancakes). The staff was very attentive. Lunches were fantastic, fresh food and traditional Venezuelan cuisine. It’s a perfect place to relax. For sure, we will return to this posada in our next visit to Margarita.

Magnificent

This is a great place to stay at the beautiful beach of el Yaque. It is located 50mts from the beach. The place is impeccable, the rooms are clean with a/c, free wifi, and DirectTV. Food service is excellent, beach service is great they include Palapas, beds and chairs, towels as well as drinks and great food.
