Rude manager horrible hospitality
The property itself was in very poor condition. The air conditioning barely worked, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the area advertised as a lake looked more like a dirty drainage canal. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were far below expectations.
The biggest issue, however, was the behavior of the reception manager. We arrived after a long overnight flight, exhausted, hungry, and sleep-deprived after spending additional time at immigration. We politely requested early check-in. Initially, we accepted that a room might not be available. However, we later learned that rooms were in fact available.
Before this, the manager had mistakenly attempted to charge our card an amount equivalent to 300,000 INR instead of 300,000 Vietnamese Dong. Fortunately, the payment was declined. When we pointed out the mistake, he became visibly irritated. After that, he refused our request for early check-in despite room availability.
What was most disappointing was not the refusal itself, but the manager's attitude. He spoke to us rudely, raised his voice, and showed no empathy whatsoever despite our situation. We were left waiting in the lobby for hours while exhausted from international travel.
This was one of the worst hospitality experiences I have ever had. I hope hotel management investigates this incident and takes appropriate action regarding the conduct of the reception manager so that future guests do not have to go through a similar experience.

Pros: Beautiful lakeside location in Tay Ho.
Staff is supportive and the swimming pool is clean/well-maintained.
Cons: Accessibility: No elevator in this 3-floor hotel. Do not book if traveling with elderly guests. (I had to switch to the 1st floor to avoid the stairs).
Maintenance: Exhaust fan was broken on arrival and took a full day to fix.
Verdict: Good for the view/pool, but lacks transparency on accessibility and quick repairs.

Resort looks very tired, however room was clean, there was mould on the bathroom roof it didn't feel dirty though you could see cleaners were trying to keep it under control.
Was so lovely and quiet until the last night, wow there was people running up and down the corridor making a lot of noise and continually banging doors, this did not stop until around 3am, couldn't call the reception as the phone in room didn't work niether did the number for the resort, however as i only speak English it would not made a difference as none of the staff spoke English.
The price definitely reflects the stay
The pool does not have any water so don't expect to relax in or around it, there is no chairs either.
There is restaurants there, however I never seen anyone eating there or working in them
