Heavenly - but you must like dogs!

We arrived late afternoon with the sun streaming through the trees onto the ochre-coloured walls, and wandered down to the waterfall plunging into a private grotto. As a birdwatcher, the plan was to leave before dawn the following morning, bird a bit up the mountain, and continue to Da Lat. After a five minute chat with Pascal, and with an enthusiastic 'Yes!' from my wife and daughter, I cancelled the following night's booking at Da Lat and stayed another at Ivory Falls. It is utterly gorgeous, the most beautiful place we stayed in Vietnam. The food wasn't the greatest we had in the country, but eating out on the terrace overlooking the green valley is a wonderful experience. The rooms are large and clean and the beds comfy. One caveat -if you're not fond of dogs or cats, it's not for you. Five dogs and three cats have the run of the place, which we loved, but it's not to everyone's taste. But if you don't mind furry feet warmers, this is the place to be.

A splendid, relaxing retreat.

The location is amazing with so much wildlife and scenery to enjoy. There was more than enough time to kick off your shoes and relax around the open fire pit and bar area. Warm welcome, great food with breakfast on the terrace.

A wonderful retreat

We recently visited Ivory Falls with a group of families and teenagers and had a fabulous time. If you want to get out into the countryside this is a great base for walks and bike rides and bird watching.
The hosts are very welcoming. Phuong was so helpful catering for all our various dietary needs from gluten allergy, vegetarian and fussy. The food was great. The sourdough lived up to expectations.
Pascal has a good knowledge of the local area and came up with a new walk for us every day.
We cant wait to go back!

Beautiful surrounding and scenery but overpriced

The location is excellent surrounded by hills, very quiet, but overpriced for facilities and service.
The service is enthusiastic but unprofessional by only one staff who takes care of everything: from cleaning to cooking. Rooms are basic. The fan makes huge noise. Breakfast is the same everyday.
