The warmth of Haworth

I have been many times to this wonderful welcoming pub set in beautiful Haworth and every time has been met with warm and welcoming staff and the food is excellent it’s hundreds of years old so the ambience is warm and comfortable and leaving is a sad event but I’ll be back again

Traditional charming Inn

Lovely host, check in and out was easy. Room was clean. Building itself is very old fashioned and lovely. The smell of the wood from the fireplace was charming and complimented the stay. Breakfast great and had no complaints at all throughout. Considering the price, impossible not to give 5 stars. Will visit again.

Terrible experience, awful food

Booked for Sunday lunch (25/01/25)
Arrived at 1.5pm the place was dead. Did not have any alcohol free drinks, consindering this pub is in a very small vilage where most people would need to drive here we found this not very good.
The food was very average to say the least.
Roas beef was very fatty & chewy, The Yorkshire pudding was obviously a frozen one as it was roch hard and not very nice at all.
The veg ( parsnips & carrots) were soft and soggy. We left most of our luch and informed the poor lad behind the bar.
We shall not be visiting this plave again as it was terrible.
I would recommend you avaoid this place.
I can though only comment on the Sunday lunch as thats what we had. There was no one else in the place to see other choices..

Very Very Long Wait For Food. 45 Mins @ Least.

Place half full, Good Food, poor excuse really. How long would have to wait if they were busy. Go if your NOT hungry. 1 course each.

Pub drab with no atmosphere

What a shame. This pub used to be fab. Not any more.
It looked closed when we drove into the carpark and wasn't much better inside. Behind the bar there was no lighting where the spirits are.
No homely feel about it whatsoever.
The fire was almost out but they had no more logs/coal, not good on a cold day.
I had a beef baguette and chips. The baguette being very small.
The lady behind the bar was lovely and friendly to be fair.
Definitely wouldn't rush back.
