Business trip made simple
Breakfast was amazing especially the fresh pastries and the friendly staff. Constantina was very helpful too ensuring the pastries were lovely & hot.

Lovely hotel with fantastic staff
A special mention has to go to Talar, who went above and beyond by helping me set up my Marriott Bonvoy account. She took the time to explain how everything worked, which has been incredibly useful given how often I stay here. Thanks to her help, I’ve been able to make the most of the points and status benefits, and it’s made a real difference.
Every member of staff I’ve encountered has been friendly, professional and always happy to help with anything I need. It’s that consistently excellent service that keeps me coming back.
I couldn’t recommend the AC Hotel Birmingham more highly. Whether you’re travelling for business or leisure, it’s a fantastic place to stay.

Very good hotel spoiled by loud piped 'music'.
I was not at all pleased to find that all the public spaces were plagued with loud monotonous thudding and wailing issuing from loudspeakers in the ceilings. I am a musician with very wide tastes, but having to put up with someone else’s choice of ‘music’ is unbearable, especially when it is of such low quality and so obviously ill-matched to the customer demographic.
I would have liked to use the hotel restaurant for evening meals but this stress-inducing nuisance prevented this; breakfast had to be rushed in order to get away from it.
Why on earth is it is considered necessary to force this upon customers? There is no need for music at all, but if it really must be used then surely some quiet gentle piano or harp music would be far better matched to a hotel of this quality?
It is such a shame that this otherwise excellent hotel has apparently been turned into a teenagers’ disco. I would like to use the hotel again, but not until this pointless noise is removed; I am afraid that the experience has put me off ever staying in Marriot hotels in the future. Furthermore, I was with a party of eight other musicians who were staying in another hotel. Since learning of my experience they also are unlikely to use Marriot hotels from now on.
If it were not for the noise pollution I would have awarded five stars for this otherwise very good hotel.
Finally, you have chosen your staff very well; all the ones I met were charming, friendly and helpful.
